It was ridiculous. It was like if they even smiled after a touchdown they got hit with an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Georgia got screwed over. They lost all momentum from that call.

Yeah, it's a good thing they were still able to score. Are you talking about the one where they called it on the receiver for trying to pump the crowd up? I hope the head official never refs another game again. At least not one that has BCS implications.

I'm all for trying to maintain sportsmanship in college football but that was a joke seeing the flags thrown both on Georgia and LSU for excessive celebration. I saw nothing from either player to justify being flagged.

Those calls didn't make us lose the game. When it came down to it, UGA did not tackle. All they have to do is tackle that LSU back, and maybe they win the game. 3 guys whiffed on him, including our best LB.

We are a fraud. Our coach is a fraud. I am sick and tired of Mark Richt. We have so much talent year in and year out, yet always fail to step it up. That's coaching. The only way we won the SEC was when Bama and UF were having down years. I want Mark Richt gone, and I want his two jokes of an OC and a DC gone with him.

I agree that it was not the refs who cost Georgia the game. However I thought their defense played well all game. I think the QB play of Georgia was poor. I thought the QB play did improve in the 2nd half but still not to the level he will have to play when facing top contending SEC teams

Our defense played well because LSU's offense is so terrible. It was ranked in the 100s before Saturday's game. However, when it mattered, our Defense folded like it always does. Our coaching on both sides of the ball have been crap the last 2/3 years.

Our QB play was horrible because Joe Cox is a horrible QB. He has little to no arm strength, and is only putting up his mediocre numbers because we throw the ball to AJ Green on every other play, and he has to make a spectacular play in order to even get his hands on Cox's poor throws. Every ball Cox throws is either a mile high or a rainbow that takes 2 minutes to come down.

I hate Mark Richt so much I can barely see the screen as I type this.

So am I. So are probably 90% of UGA fans. He locks onto one reciever (AJ usually) and forces a throw into multiple-coverage. He looks for secondary receivers far too late and as a result usually doesn't see the LB sitting just off the target or the safety up top. There's a reason why we've called about a zillion screens this year. We don't trust our QB, but yet Mr. Nice Guy Richt refuses to play another QB because Cox stuck around for 4 years and waited his turn behind DJ and Matthew.

It really sucks to be a UGA fan. Its a bit like being a Dallas Cowboys fan, if you want some comparison.

Can't say I'm a Georgia fan or LSU fan but I enjoyed the game. I'm sure you follow Georgia much closer than I do so I don't have much to say about Richt.
