OK, so right up front I want to say this is a silly thread. . . but here goes.

For escorting a certain sexy singer to the CMA's, our own Tony Romo was interviewed and gave his reaction to 'the hold' of her purse while she accepted her awards.

In his response, he made a reference to his being there a 'secondary protocol'. I was wondering, was that some sort of inside football joke? Secondary protocol? Anyone? Anyone?

I heard that phrase mentioned in the movie Armageddon starring Bruce Willis. The military man on the shuttle pulled a gun and said he had a "secondary protocol" or alternate orders in case plan A didn't work out. Has anyone else seen this scene?
