Nope I don't feel you. The only problem is going to come down to personal decisions, ie who should we draft, hires as assistants, pick up in FA (and it seems as if Jerry handles this all any way). But if Wade wants someone and Garrett wants something else then there might be an issue as Garrett appears to be the next in waiting. I don't see any problems though. Wade has to be thrilled to be here on a team that can win the SB in the coming years becuase he is getting older and you know he wants a shot. As for the players not following him...this is pro, not high school....the coaching staff will be on the same page come next season so this will be a non issue.

Quit putting so much stock in what the mediots say.

Here's what I would do:

Go to the nearest store. It can be a grocery store. It can be a Target. It can be a Walgreens. It doesn't matter.

Find the aisle where they keep food storage stuff. Look for tinfoil. I recommend Reynolds. Its quality stuff and not too expensive.

Construct yourself a nice tinfoil hat. Don't forget the antennas. They serve as a radar to pick up on mind probes and the like.

Wear it. This is very important. Do not let the government/aliens/Jerry Jones access to your brain. That would be irresponsible, dangerous, and stupid to do so.

1st off the players have responded to Wade and have talked highly of him especially TO. As for Wade he is a football coach and has been doing this for well over 30 years and I think he knew from the get go that the Cowboys will one day want to promote Jason to HC and I don't think the working relationship of Phillips or Garrett has been strained they are both here trying to achive the same goals and that is to get this team to the top.

I'm not following you on that. Even if Garrett goes on to someday be the HC of the boys , I dont think it hinders Wade and Garrett's working relationship at all. There are alot of fans that have complaints about Wade and Garrett after the playoff loss.
I think 2007 was a good year for the boy's and I hope next year is better... (come on trophy #6). I'm glad they are not going to be turned upside down again by an all new coaching staff. I'm glad that Wade and Garrett are still here at least. I doubt that it bothers Wade to know that Garrett might replace him someday.

You do realize Garrett wasn't just brought in right? He was here all year long, and all this HC in waiting talk is a year old. didn't seem to affect wade a bit

So their words mean nothing but you know what is really going on? I did not see or hear TO talking as highly about BP when he was here but for some reason he did so with Wade. Wade is and always has been a players coach and getting the guys to play for him I don't see that as an issue.

No, I want him to quit - WHY? you ask, Shirley - because we look like fools with two head coaches. Jerry has again made a moronic front office choice.

Aren't you happy the guy drafting is the guy who took Quincy Carter? and traded for Galloway and who went down on the field and began yelling at players and coaches in the crunch, not to mention has now created a bad situation between Wade and JG.

True and looking at the teams he brought to post season most where not true SB contending teams to begin with. Buffalo tanked after Phillips left whose to say Phillips did a better job with these teams than some may think.
You asked how players could follow him and the reason is they do think highly of him and in some way exceeded what many Cowboy fans thought this team would do to begin with. Yes it is disappointing about the loss but I don't recall many thinking Dallas would perform the way they did this season.
