No, I want him to quit - WHY? you ask, Shirley - because we look like fools with two head coaches. Jerry has again made a moronic front office choice.

Aren't you happy the guy drafting is the guy who took Quincy Carter? and traded for Galloway and who went down on the field and began yelling at players and coaches in the crunch, not to mention has now created a bad situation between Wade and JG.

Face it.

Like i said sack up and make that thread.

Dont come in here with that touchy feely " don't you think you'd be angry?"

and from your comments about our drafting its obvious you have NO IDEA what kind of system we have in our scouting process that was installed by Jerry years ago

Wade addresses money situation

Albert Breer E-mail News tips

Along with the new title of assistant head coach, Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett got a hefty raise to a salary of more than $3 million a year. And since that brushes up against what Wade Phillips brings in each year, some might think there's an awkward situation brewing.

But Phillips doesn't look at it like that.

"If you know me, you know it doesn’t bother me at all," Phillips said. "Matter of fact, I’m always happy for coaches that get a raise. I want all my assistant coaches to make all they can."

And he doesn't feel like there's any need to look over his shoulder, either.

"Pressure on me? No," he said. "As long as we got that continuity, and that’s what we look for, it’s great. We got Jason back, which helps me."

Obviously, he is lying.

2 HC's? Funny I only saw 1 HC in today’s new conference with the hiring of Houck and it was not Jason Garrett.

Jerry is waiting for Wade to re-sign , isn't he? that has to be the case, right? I mean , if you were working at a job and someone was brought in to be your eventual replacement, but you still felt good, young, productive -don't you think you'd be angry?, resentful?, pressured , furious, and combative?

I mean, how can Wade really get the players to follow him - when they know, he's gone after this season UNLESS they win the Bowl.
I would not feel you for all the tea in China or a winning lottery ticket. :D

Wade is and always has been WINLESS in the post season - the earlier guy is not.
"the earlier guy" was winless in the postseason here, which is all most of us care about. Not to mention the drama that inevitably followed said postseasons.

It will be interesting to see what the Lemonpuss can accomplish down in the Land of Tan, with even more distractions for the squad than Big D and its gentlemens' clubs can offer. If he can't pull it off there, his reputation is forever sullied.

Okay, maybe it's me, I'm a still bitter, down right irate and angry over the loss. It's easy for you non NY people, I live 10 miles from Giants Stadium - I am sick over this.

Maybe I'm lashing out incorrectly and need to forget about Dallas for a few months, because right now, honestly, I'm ashamed to be a fan. 30 plus years , I've never felt that.

I can understand the frustration because you live in NY area and that is who Dallas lost to but I do think you may be letting your emotions get the better of you and chances are it is not going to get any better this weekend as we will see the Packers/Giant game thinking that should be us. Just try and believe it is going to get better.

Can easily understand your attitude living in NY. I'm down here in Florida and just didn't look at the sports new, the Cowboy forums or any other football forums. I just can't bear to watch or hear about what happened. I hoped to avoid the worst of it and I did but then I didn't have to listen to Giants or Bills fans either.

I'm just sitting here thinking that, despite Aikman's comment that he doubts we can come back from such a loss, that our Cowboy team is a heck of a lot tougher then he and others give us credit for. We will be back and we will be bigger, better and more dangerous. The Dallas Cowboy team of 2007 could be beaten; the Dallas Cowboy team of 2008 wouldn't allow anyone to beat them or stand in their way. The only caveat is that Jerry Jones must add the missing pieces: speedy #2 WR to complement TO, a speedy RB with vision/cutting ability to work in tendam with MBIII, a really good cover CB with speed (maybe 2 CBs) and an ILB whose good against the run and in pass coverage to cover the middle of the field & maybe a veteran defensive player with 34 experience who will bring fire and brimstone to any team player not playing his heart out.

Here's what I would do:

Go to the nearest store. It can be a grocery store. It can be a Target. It can be a Walgreens. It doesn't matter.

Find the aisle where they keep food storage stuff. Look for tinfoil. I recommend Reynolds. Its quality stuff and not too expensive.

Construct yourself a nice tinfoil hat. Don't forget the antennas. They serve as a radar to pick up on mind probes and the like.

Wear it. This is very important. Do not let the government/aliens/Jerry Jones access to your brain. That would be irresponsible, dangerous, and stupid to do so.

God speed sir.

A climactic read... and yet the the end was the funniest.... "..sir"

Club Med was the reason we've become the laughing stock of Pro Sports
Why people have to say we're the "laughingstock" of Professional sports is beyond me.

Do you really think we're more of a joke than

The New York Knicks
Tampa Bay Devil Rays
Miami Dolphins
Atlanta Falcons
Arizona Cardinals
and so on and so forth.

I can understand the bitterness brought on by the embarrassing loss, but shame?

I can match the 30+ years of being a fan of this franchise, but I've never been ashamed of a Dallas Cowboys fan. Not one ******** day.

After 30+ years, maybe it's time for another team to instill some pride in your personal appreciation of professional football..?
