: Did You Know? Since 2000, 13 teams that got off to 4-4 start or worse have qualified for the playoffs. One - the '01 Patriots - won the Super Bowl. Another - the '02 Raiders - lost it. A third - the '02 Titans - made it to the AFC Championship Game. Three other 4-4 teams advanced to the divisional round. In '02, half of the 12-team playoff field, including five of the six AFC participants, were 4-4 or worse at the halfway point.

It is only good news if the Cowboys step up and stop hurting themselves. We still control our own destiny this season but only if the team bears down and starts putting things together and stop the penalties.
