Someone was complaining about how quiet they were. That's proof that you can't tell from your couch. I also believe the networks want people to believe that the Cowboys home crowd is quieter than it is. Was it the Commanders game that the announcer kept saying that it was quiet in the stadium, but you could hear the fans and see the towels waving? It was pretty electric until the fans realized that the Cowboys were laying an egg. Anyway, it's nice to know that AT&T can make some noise and support the players. 4-4 at home is nothing to brag about but I feel pretty good about it with today's win. We may be getting hot at just the right moment.

The only time I have been lucky enough to get to Jerry world, we played the Commanders on Monday night a couple years ago. It was LOUD! Then, when I got back home and checked on here there were comments about it being dead silent! I couldnt hear for two days! ,,

It was loud. Even at the end when they were trying to get the shutout.

I was going to say this but I didn't want to be called crazy. I believe that in places like Seattle and KC they turn up the volume to make them seem even louder.

In contrast to what? HS stadiums "feel" loud etc. That's how we could gauge the thing. Were other broadcasts more noticeable? I would feel like a goat thinking this was somehow broadcast related.

Unless they are broadcasting from Seattle. Then they pump the noise in.

fox carries nfc...they usually do a good job...way more exciting watching football on fox
aside from enduring that damn joe buck bad luck charm.

we had to endure cbs because indy played at dallas tonight

Big red said only way we can stop other teams fans from taking over is us winning. Seems to be starting to work. We need all hands on deck come January.

Didn't they lift the conference rule for the networks? On Thanksgiving both CBS and Fox showed games between two NFC teams. It's a little different now.

A lot of fans sold tickets early this year thinking this was a down year, leading to some split crowds. Come playoff time, that place will be 90% Cowboys fans and will be rockin.

I was at a big sports bar with a nice, rented basement party room for my 40th birthday party. I had 3 big screens along with a full working bar dedicated to the Cowboys football game. Considering the 30 plus family and friends that were there, I had to be somewhat social, so I did not hear the ramblings of the CBS commentators. I also did not catch every nuance of the game like I usually do. I'm thankful it was a blowout so I could roam the room and be fairly social.

On a side note, I had a young guy that is dating my wife's younger cousin who just happened to be a Colts fan attending the party. With that said, I ran into him on Thanksgiving Day during the Eagles/Cowboys game and he had boldly predicted the Eagles to win, which they did emphatically. Then I saw him for a family, pre-Christmas dinner gathering yesterday before the Colts/Cowboys game, which he confidently stated the Colts would win. I just told him it should be a good game. Needless to say, he left my party with his tight fitting XXL Colts hoodie, rather deflated. Oh, he did mention that the Colts had nothing to play for, citing that T.Y. Hilton didn't suit up, as if that would have made a difference. I simply let him know that this particular game, whether Hilton suited up or not, would not have changed the outcome one bit. The Cowboys were on a mission!!

To simply quote Emmitt Smith during Super Bowl 30, "How sweet it is!"

Another thing today, the crowd was quiet when the 'Boys were on offense and brought the noise when on D

I go to 3-4 games a year. For the last few years the crowd has been terrible. They get excited when the Cowboys have a big play and make it hard on the offense. When the defense is on the field, they are quiet unless the video board tells them to make noise.

The crowd was awesome today! From start to finish it was loud when the Colts had the ball and quiet when the Cowboys were on offense. I think it was the best home crowd since the Eagles playoff game.

Part of it may be the small number of visiting team fans compared to most of the other games and part of it is the Cowboys success bringing out the serious fans. Whatever the reasons, the crowd was great and I was proud to be there screaming my lungs out along side my fellow fanatics.
