Have Spencer in there on 3rd downs and save him for late in the game. That would be the best way to work him back in.

In before first comment that Spencer should have to win his job back from Selvie.

Des is going to work flowers all day

You think they put Flowers on Dez? I'd expect they'd put him on Austin, and roll coverage on Dez. Let us work the intermediate routes in the teeth of their blitz package. See if we can run into their front. Flowers is a very good player, but I'd take that matchup all day if they leave him on Dez.

5-9 corner vs a physical 6-2 WR...I'll take it. I hope they trust him enough to put him 1-1 vs Dez

I hope the Chiefs think like their fans and put Flowers on an island with him without any safety help. Dez will have him pushing up daisies!!!!!!

I would bet there is about a zero percent chance that they have enough faith in Flowers to put him 1-1 against Dez.

And if they happen to that faith will be gone before the first quarter ends. I doubt very seriously Dez will see to much 1-1 all year long.

I'm glad to see that Spencer is going to at least get back into the rotation. That is going to help this D-line.

Don't even play him this week.

Selvie is fine.. Give Rayford a shot.

The Chiefs should be more aggressive than the Giants were defensively. I predict many more opportunities for Dez to make big plays.

Big weakness of the 3-4 is stopping the run so hopefully Callahan will have more patience with it this week. If we can get the running game going, we'll win easily.

Huh? Since when are three 300+ pounders playing 2-gap weak against the run? Holding the point is less likely to get gashed over time then charging gaps. It all comes down to personnel in the end but I cannot say I agree with your take here.

Yea, it's well known that 3-4 defenses have more trouble with the run. Ask any defensive coordinator.

Yep. Dez will be doubled by the Chiefs, and they'll probably play coverages similar to what the Giants did and take their chances with Austin and Witten. Here's hoping Austin can abuse the Chiefs like he did a few years ago.
