I would call Seattle and see if they would swap Senca Wallace for Crayton and a pick. Wallace will then be our backup QB and it opens the number 3 reciever spot to Miles Austin. Wallace was 141 for 242 last year with 11 tds and only 3 picks. He can run too. Seattle will be losing Bobby Engram to free agency and Crayton would take his place. I dont know how highly Seattle values Wallace. I assume they are going to go with Hasselback again next season espically if they take Crabtree. Wallace or someone of his stature would be my number one priority. We all saw what happened when we lost our starting QB last season. Even though we had plenty more chances it was the difference of the playoffs. Do you guys like him? Crayton and a pick is that too much or too little to give up for him? What do you think.

I didnt realize his numbers were that good....on a pretty bad offensive team.'

With possible WR depth we will need to hold onto Crayton. I like this kid - he runs his mouth too often but he can play.

I was thought he sucked, but looking at those numbers perhaps I was wrong.

There are plenty BU QBs available via FA...
Fitzpatrick
JT O'Sullivan
JP Lossman
Just to name three, those are my top guys...

i think people have some insane desire to madden things up.

crayton resigned recentely and whether you have your "in vogue" trade bait all ready to go or not doesn't matter.

crayton isn't and shouldn't be going anywhere.

Too much... there will be plenty of serviceable QBs that we can bring in as back up without giving up some of our WR depth -- which we will desperately need if we cut TO.

Funny thing, I was watching a ton of Seattle games in 2007 with a friend who followed them - I kept on about how Seneca Wallace sucked. Then, after seeing several games with Johnson/Bollinger I started thinking that Wallace was pretty good. Wallace's problem is that he's just really small. People say Romo is small for a QB - he's 3 inches taller about about 25 pounds heavier than Wallace.

Why give up an asset for a mediocre QB when we can get a mediocre QB in free agency without doing so?

Makes no sense.

I'd love Seneca...unless we have to trade for him.

They would have to throw in a 5th or it's robbery. Seneca isn't very good...

Just sign me and Romo would be delegated to a backup role and we will win 5 Superbowls in a row. Even with Wheelchair Terrell Owens on the team. :laugh2:

I like Wallace, but not that much. He is young and talented though....and is finally starting to get it.
