Serious Randy Gregory question

I have this picture in my head of Belichek whispering instructions to one of his minions to put out a false rumor about drafting Gregory & then laughing his head off in their draft room after Jerry bites.

Goodell will give Zeke another suspension just for walking in the same vicinity as Gregory . He has proven that he needs zero proof of anything

He'll nail them for poppy seed bagels...

You must not have seen him play college ball. Better run defender than pass rusher.
Just read his scouting report for the first time and admittedly it agreed with you in regards to how well he handled the run in college. Well it didn't necessarily say that his run defense was better than his pass defense, but stated that he was an effective run defender. I still say that it could be a problem for him at the pro level because of his size and the fact that he'll be going against bigger tackles and bigger RBs than he regularly would in college. But if the guy somehow gets on the field and proves me wrong, I'll be the first to admit it. I don't expect anything from him but I'm still cheering for the guy.

How could you not? Cowboys need him. The thing with Gregory is that he is not a thug bad guy. Decent guy who likes pot. Not good for the NFL but not a terrible thing. He has put on about 15 pounds since college. I have a strong feeling he is going to surprise.

Well you say that but c'mon, there have been plenty of posters demonizing him for his drug issue....as if everyone of us here don't have a family member or friend that has gone through something similar. I agree with you completely but you can't get some here to not take it personal, as if he's smoking weed just to ruin their favorite sports team.

He dominated the Giants 1st round pick (OT Flowers) in college.

Just want to point out Flowers was picked 1st by a NYG front office that has been fired for their crappy picks. Flowers has been dominated by many D lineman ... he sucks talent wise. I'd go as far as to say Flowers has been so dominated he's probably a true masochist.

This video is one of the best of any draft analysis that you'll see. I highly recommend the entire video AND recommend watching any other videos by the guy that did this one.

Will check it out for sure.

He is still under contract with the Cowboys and will be able to play next season. He is the reason why IMO that the FO only slapped a 2nd round tender on Irving. They are hoping for the extra 2nd and have hopes that Gregory will step in and fill the void. He has been clean for over a year so I guess we will have to wait and see.
How do you know he has been clean for a year? I missed that article. Could you link it please?

He has to be or he can't even apply for reinstatement

it is a process of elimination

He has not applied for reinstatement. What does that process tell you?
It tells you that until the NFL says he is ineligible then you have to operate under the premise that he is in compliance....... and if he is in compliance that means he has been clean and passed every test for a year

He wanted to wait until after the playoffs and season to re-apply so he wasn't a distraction or negative headline...... it also gave him a couple more months to strengthen his case

Yep, he's been signed to a contract by the Hamilton Tigercats in the Canadian Football League. He and Jonny football gonna be best buds and it's legal to smoke da bud in Canada.

It's weird that people give him the benefit of the doubt even though he's proven multiple times not to follow through on what he says.

Can you find one that says he failed another drug test? I can't, so the only other reality is that he has been clean for over a year.
