I live in Jersey, so these 2 games are always huge, but it's even more magnified right now. Basically, winner is going to win the division. that's the difference between atleast 1 home game and none in the play-offs, and possibly a bye.

This game is huge, and it will be a huge disappointment if the team comes out flat.

It's funny how every week we seem to be playing "the most important game in the past 9 years!!!"

I don't see a game from here on out that will be less important than the previous one... that said, I really want to beat the Giants. I just can't stand that smug, overrated Eli Manning.

It's true, and when you only play 16 games they are all big and I want them all. For me, the biggest game of the year was winning in Philly. Sweeping that team was a big step forward for this franchise.

I do want this game badly because right now the division is king and winning this game is a big step toward winning the division. The Carolina game will be important for tie-breakers too. I'd like to have all the others, but if I had to pick 4 games to win to get us to 10-6 and a division title, it'd be Giants, Carolina, and Washington.

I agree, after this week, at least 2 of the 8 in the hunt will have 5 losses, If Atlanta loses to Carolina their will be 3 of the eight with 5 losses.

If Carolina loses to Atlanta a team with 5 losses with only be 1 game out with 4 to go.

It will be a battle down to the wire and we will probably not know until week 16 at the earliest whether we are in.

I have had no problem with the Giants over the years, even when they have been good. But I don't like this group of Giants for some reason. Especially on offense. Tiki Barber, Armani Toomer, Eli Manning, Jeremy Shockey, I just don't like them. I don't know why.

it will still be possible to nab a wildcard spot even losing this game, and the same goes for the Giants. but in this day and age, even the benefit of homefield could tip the scales - a bye week thrown in is a huge advantage. here's hoping we sweep the Giants!!! a please Lord let some of our players get healthy...

I think if you look at the rest of our schedule this one game is the most important one left by far. Now if we drop it by no means are we out of the hunt for a wildcard spot or even the NFC east crown, but there is a lot to gain from winning that game...

This game is basically for the division itle because whoever wins this game will likely become the NFC East's top seed. If I were Parcells I'd show the players the highlights from the Emmit Smith Shoulder game, where he single-handedly beat the Giants with one arm (wasn't that in 1993?). That game was for the division title and we won it. And from there we went on to win the Super Bowl.

Shownig the players highlights from this game would demonstrate to them the importance of the running game (for this reason, I would have Julius Jones sitting in the front row of the film room) and the "will" that it will take, and must take, in oredr for us to take the division and have playoff success.

My whole family are Giants fans and I grew up taking a lot of abuse from them.

So since I was little my favorite team is the Cowboys and anybody who plays the Giants.

The fact that it's for 1st place makes it even more so. I'm just hoping the offensive line will show up and give us time.

Hmm... but the Washington game could be more important since they own the tiebreaker if we lose.
