Service Pack 2 Problem

I've got a problem and I can't install SP2 for Windows XP. The auto-update thing has been popping up for months but I can't install the SP2 so I just ignore it. Everytime I go to install it, it asks for the software to Microsoft FrontPage and I don't have it because I installed it from a friend's business server. Is there anyway to get around this and install the SP2 so that the stupid Microsoft update window will quit bugging me?

Try uninstalling the Frontpage software.

I still use it almost daily though and I don't think I could get it back. The package that it came with that I downloaded off of my friend's server took forever to download.

Yes, the XP is a legit copy...it came pre-installed on the computer from Dell.

Just checking because if you have a bootleg copy you can't receive updates.

Might be true on the Home edition, not on the Pro.

I've got the home edition and I've already downloaded the SP1.
