these were the guys that I thought we were most likely to sign in free agency, and ya know what? they are ALL still available.. point is, the possibility of us signing some/most of these guys has actually gone UP since we still have tons of money to spend and because a bunch of other people have already been picked up.. and if we did sign these guys, Id be very happy..

All you need to do is make a quick juke with your shoulders and hips and he'll run right by you. I've never seen a LB that overpursues more and takes worse angles when attempting to make tackles...not to mention all of the freelancing he does.

I don't think he's actually signed, yet. I searched on Google's News engine, and an article from about 15 minutes ago said he just met with the team today. I'll go fetch a link.

For some reason, I'm having difficulty copying and pasting the article. It says he met there today with the Giants, but that the two sides haven't even begun negotiations. His agents indicated 8 teams are after him, though no visits are currently scheduled. He also has already visited Miami.

I like your list and agree that a lot of options are still out there. I'd throw in an Ashworth in as an option at tackle, as well. If we are serious about unloading Allen, then we're going to need an acquistion at tackle.

Ayodele seems like a viable option and we are certainly interested in him, but if that doesn't work out, there's always, as you said, several other options. I like McGinest as a wily vet to sign to a 2-or-so year deal, while I like Peterson as a young, potential guy with high upside.

I'd love Sewell at fullback. I think that's one position that doesn't get enough play as being in need of upgrade. Either that, or my evaluation of Polite is way off.

Hannam also seems like an option at tight end, based on reports.
