So at the risk of getting the board into arguments and tons of bad jokes (mostly from me). I was thinking. Who is the most valuable player under the age of 28. Who will be here when hopefully this team becomes relevant in the playoffs again? I decided not to do a poll because there are way too many options. One catch...you can't vote for a rookie. Thus, no Zeke.

For me, I love Dez, but I am not sure if I believe he is the MVP on offense. He's up there mind you and is very important to the overall success, but I would lean towards Travis Frederick. He can be the anchor of the OL and can help any young QB that comes behind Romo.

Mind you there are tons of options, but the more I look at it, outside of the OL and Dez..I don't feel comfortable voting for anyone else currently without more dialogue with you all.

What say you?

I would have to say Tyron.

He is in the top 2 at a premium position, and still very young.

Dez is actually pretty close, assuming he returns to form. But an LT is worth alot more than a WR, just the way it is, especially when you are considering Tyron is 2 of the best at his position.

Tyron. One of the best, if not the best, tackles in the game, and he's not even in his prime yet. Crazy.

I love the votes for Tyron. I think he's important, but doesn't anchor the line. Then again I have often wondered what would happen if he wasn't in the line up. LT is a very important position. I just still stand by Travis F. because he calls the line protections. Small and perhaps pointless point, but for me it makes him a MVP for me.

There could be so many answers here...mvp and player to build the team around are two different things.

Yes, very good point. Let's assume the MVP is the best player to build around who has talent. I don't want to get caught up in semantics.

Tyron Smith

Edit: Elliott will be even after Dallas drafts its franchise QB especially early in said QB's career. Similar to The Bus for Big Ben and Beast Mode for Russell Wilson early.

Not sure any of them will still be here in 8 years. If you're talking post romo. Dallas can be relevant in the playoffs next season and the season after but it'll be many years after romo.

It's Tyron and it isn't really close.

He's the best player on the team at the 2nd most important position on a team.

It's Tyron, but Frederick is in the discussion.

Most impactful? Dez.

Most valuable? Tyron.

Ezekiel, Zach, and Travis will all be in the mix.
