I honestly don't know how the season will work out without any vaccine ready and available?
I'm confused as well. This is not good.
The vast majority of people under 35 who contract it won't have severe enough symptoms to be hospitalized and the death rate for people under 35 with a pro athlete's immune system is microscopic. That doesn't change the legal issues but it isn't Ebola.
Agreed...but what about our head coach, coaching staff and front office who most all are above the age of 50+? That has to be worrisome.
I don’t mean to start up old wounds, but how long ago was that house party again?
HOW MANY TIMES HAVE WE SAID THE EWOK BEARD IS NOT A MASK, PEOPLE!!!
I can actually see this as a benefit to help some of the hysterics get over their fears. If they see famous athletes test positive and end up in the 25 - 50% that never show symptoms it could actually be a good thing.
Not surprised Zeke turned up positive. Doesn't Zeke live with Dak? If not, they sure do hang out a lot. What about their recent mini workouts they've had with Dez included?
Exactly, that is the risk. Probably also the reason Jerry has been on the Yacht this whole time.
I wonder if Dak has it to. He hosted that party. Lol. Young kids making bad choices. We will see how many and who they are. How long ago did they test positive. Is this just now coming out. Have they already been testing negative. We all knew some of these players were going to get it. There will be more.
No suprise. I'm almost certain Dak has it too. It's less about their health, these blockheads are partying, "If I get corona, I get corona", and then spreading it to everyone else.
Here’s to a speedy recovery for Zeke; luckily it seems like all the major athletes from sports that have gotten it have been able to shake it off pretty quick. Durant, Von Miller, Gobert, Mitchell.. etc
Yeah I'm hearing this too, Zeke tested positive. Been true for a while now.
Yeah wo knowing the details yet, I bet he got it a while ago and is already symptom free
This is not only a problem for the Cowboys, it’s a problem for the “everything will be ok” leaders in the NFL offices. They have acted as if the season will happen no matter what, but that has to be a serious question at this point.
If even one player, coach or staff member in an NFL locker room tests positive once the season starts, what will the NFL’s plan be? The NBA stopped its season once they found out a few players tested positive. The spread of this virus among athletes in close contact will surely be a real risk. With over 1,500 players, nearly 1,000 coaches, trainers and staff members, is the NFL prepared to handle the fallout if even one of those people were to die as a result of the virus?
The 2020 season’s probability of happening just took a hit.
the party was well over a month ago so if they are just testing positive now then it wasnt from the party....
I was always surprised at how many people thought that this season was NOT in jeopardy. It totally is.
Yeah the issue is there, no matter how much we want to see football.
