Sexual Assault lawsuit against Jerry on track for a jury trial

My thoughts exactly! This is all about being compensated!
it's the way the world has always been on these things. It's not a Jerry thing. Again, being wealthy isn't evil. It's the person behind the money that is bad or seedy. Money only magnifies who a person already is inside and out. Jerry's mask came off long ago I suppose. We all already know that. Yes, this woman will be paid off at some point I expect. I would love to see Jerry get forced to sell the team. But knowing him what he would is transfer it into Stevie's name or his daughter and get away with it. Sell it for like a dollar and put it in a family members name. YES, he would do that.

It's funny how naive people can be thinking that even if Jerry is suspended from NFL operations that will change anything with the team.

Stephen, Charlotte and Jerry Jr. will continue running the team the same way Jerry has always run it as long as Jerry is alive.

Despite a lot of fan (deserved) frustration at Jerry's 30 years of ineptitude, he's too powerful and valuable to the NFL to remove long-term just like Robert Kraft was too powerful and important during the Tom Brady Super Bowl years.

Kraft was caught in a really bad public situation and the NFL fined him an insignificant amount of money (for someone like him), but they also took away two draft picks.

So even if Jerry loses in court, the most likely scenario is Jerry will get a fine and the Cowboys will lose one or more draft picks.

For those that really don't care about the woman filing the suit and are more focused on "Get Jerry at all costs!", go ahead and root for it to be true.

If/when the Cowboys lose high round draft picks, you can gloat all about it while Jerry uses it as yet another excuse of why the team failed to improve as he continues his GM acting gig.
Exactly what I just posted. He would sell the team to his son for a buck and nothing whatsoever will change.

Jerry out here spreading them fever blisters
hes a walking talking std I imagine.

If Jerry gets a jury of people my age, or any fans of Gone With the Wind, he will win. But I wonder what happens if he loses? I don't think Goodell hates Jerry they way he hated the owner of the Commanders, Dan Snyder. I doubt Jerry will be forced to sell the team, but Goodell does pander to the public on stuff like this so I think losing this case could wind up with some kind of punishment for Jerry.

The problem is, with his son so heavily involved it will be almost impossible to keep Jerry out of the operations of the team. On the other hand, Jerry not being able to sit in the war room on draft day? or unable to be at the Cowboys games, or unable to talk to reporters about the team? Ouch, that is going to hurt him if it happens.

you got to be kidding? Thats it? The way it's being hyped you would think he R worded her. Dang. Its still wrong what he did. This sounds like she's trying to get cash...big payout. I lay you odds he was Drunk as a skunk when he did it. Nothing says high Character and morality like one Jerry Jones. :oldcouple:

it won't make any difference at this point. What is he, 85 or more?
I don't know if there is any chance of this happening but maybe it will get bad enough in terms of PR the league forces him out like they did to Snyder

Times have changed. We saw this kind of thing in every movie made before 1965. I remember James Cagney shoving a half grapefruit in the face of his girl in a movie.

Are you talking about the Florida incident with respect to Kraft? If so, that was not the punishment that the NFL handed out. I don't believe there was any, other than the embarassment he lived through via the press.

Obviously, the only logical course of action for the league is to force him to sell the team.
They probably won't, and possibly can't.

All Jerry needs to do is remove himself as GM and has nothing to do with running the team. His kids take over full control.

You're right .. I was confusing that with "deflate gate". Thank you for correcting it!

Kraft got off from the Flordia situation without any punishment because that's what rich and powerful people do.

I still think that IF Jerry were to lose and IF the NFL were to act, it will be the team and fans that ultimately suffer the results, not Jerry.

Jerry could travel the world on his yacht while suspended using video conferencing to be a part of every team decision just like usual.

NFL should suspend him from any football activity until the trial is over.
Because he's guilty until proven innocent? And there's definitely not a history of women going after rich people to get paid. And this 75 year old man definitely sexually assaulted someone.

If this is the case I remember he has a lot of witnesses that refute this woman's claim. IIRC Demarcus Ware was a witness and few other now ex-Cowboys.
