Per Jay Glazer....

Last year, John Lynch was broadcasting a skins game, and Snyder walked up to him RIGHT IN FRONT OF ZORN and told him...."Tell me everything you can about Shanahan....

Lynch looked at Zorn in an awkward fashion, and Zorn kinda shrugged his shoulders and said "whatever", so Lynch told Snyder what he knew.

Glazer also reporting that Snyder offered Shanny the job last offseason, but Shanny said "Snyder...you need to give Zorn one more year"....

Glazer reporting that the skins are interviewing minority candidates this week so that as soon as the season is over, they can make a play for Shanny. Glazer also says he hears that Shannny really wants the Cowboys job though, and will probably just use the skins offer as leverage.

Now I ask you.....if Snyder acted like this in front of his coach (zorn), if you were Shanny, how could you possibly want to work for this bum?????

Glazer also said, he doesn't think Cowboys have any interest in Shanahan. I am glad to hear that. I know lot of fandom and mediots locally think he is a great Coach. But two things they don't seem to understand, it will be total change of offensive philosophy, second Shanahan has been as bad as Wade Phillips in winning playoffs, and worse in regular season than Wade Phillips since Elway/TD retirements.

And word is that he ran a very loose lockeroom. Media buys too much into the public persona.

yeah, thanks. I forgot to add that.

I just don't see how there is a coach in the country that would work for Snyder with his attitude. Completely classless. Whether its replacing JC, or replacing Zorn, he makes no secrets about it. And he wonders why his team fails.

This is why they get stuck with coaches like Zorn. Nobody good will work for the midget.

Shanahan was always overrated to me... Hasn't really done anything since John Elway and Terrell Davis.

We would have to start over from a team philosophy standpoint... Offense will have to learn a new system. We don't have the offensive lineman to run a zone blocking scheme. If Shanny comes here Wade will be leaving. Who is going to coach the defense??? We would probably have to learn a new type of defense again.... Do people think on this board?

Jerry better not let go of Wade... While i am not a fan of Wade i still think he has done a good job of coaching this team.. The revolving door of coaches has too stop.. Its not like we have been at the bottom of the league during his coaching tenure.. This fanbase and Dallas media has no patience..

The first part of your post is very correct in regards to why I dont think Shanny would be a good fit in Dallas but as far as what you said about Wade I disagree I just dont feel that Wade is the answer as far as leadership and bringing out the best in his players

He was one game away from a Super Bowl with Jake Plummer as his QB.

The guy is a great coach.

It seems as if he is... Weren't the players defending him?? Sticking up for their coach. Its obvious they like Wade and respect him.. Too much blame can be put on Wade at times.. We see Spencer and Jenkins growing before our eyes. Wade has nothing to do with that right??? Ratliff has gotten better since Wade has been coach.. He has nothing to do with that though right?? Remember this defense before Wade??? It was terrible. Do we want to go back to that?? Because if we get rid of Wade we have to start over on defense again..

Because money doesn't just talk in this world, it screams loudly. Parcells stated in his book he would never work for Jerry Jones, and a few years later there he was coaching the Cowboys.

I'm not really scared of the Skins, yet. Snyder obviously hired Bruce Allen because he's a fanboy of his old man. I looked at Allen's drafts with the Bucs. In 5 drafts he had ONE Pro Bowler (Davin Joseph). And it wasn't like his coach in that timeframe was a total bum either. And remember, he also had Monte Kiffin coaching that defense.

Seems like Shanahan would want the Houston job, it's already his offense installed and it's obvious Kubiak can't get them over the hump.

You make some valid points.

I think that Wade is a good coordinator but a lousy head coach. The reason that I don't care for Wade the head coach is that he doesn't seem to be very organized in his approach nor does he preach attention to detail.

That makes more sense than Washington or Dallas.
