[QUOTE Todd Gurley will go top 12

This will be my biggest heartbreaking moment in the draft.

That is why often when you see a player that you get a crush on, you need to resign yourself that it is not going to happen.

I can name perhaps once or twice where my favorite first round draft crush ended up being a Cowboy.

I still don't know what you saw in David LaFleur and Bobby Carpenter.

As far as recent memory goes, I got my wish with Ware, Tyron and Dez... and that is it for about 15 years haha

Who? Just curious. (Nevermind. I read further in the thead. Carpenter, huh?)

The four players I was hoping would be Cowboys.

1. Tony Dorsett. Loved him in college, and he's the reason this former Commanders fan is now a Cowboys fan.
2. Roy Williams. He was a beast in college, and I was so elated when he became a Cowboy. His first year, he was a monster. Then, somehow, somewhere, he fell off.
3. Jason Witten. I was hoping he'd land on the Cowboys. I had to leave the draft after the first round to go umpire a baseball game. When I came back later that day, I was happy to hear the Cowboys drafted him.
4. Troy Aikman. I'm glad the Cowboys lost the last game of the season and the Packers lost also so Dallas got the first pick of the draft and changed the course of a franchise and NFL history.

We need someone this year. Romo is not getting younger. Awfully tempting though

There are very few defensive players that contributes their rookie season anyway.

I want Gurley as a Cowboy in the worse kinda way, so I know it won't happen. They never pick players that I want.

I was holding out hope he'd be there until his recent medical check. He's too special to last to 27.

I'm right there with you. He'd be perfect for this team.

I think all of this talk about Gurley going top 12 is just smoke.

Can't see all these teams go from not valuing RBs to drafting one with a torn ACL in the top 12.

If Gregory, Ray, Peters and DGB are all available at 27, what do you guys do? Who's red flag is the least offensive? Gamble and try to trade down and try to pick one of them up in the 2nd? Or pass on them all together.

Draft Gregory.
