I don't find you annoying but I find this team's mentality annoying!..this is what we talked about at T/C this year....we hung out with RR and Raphael in Oxnard and discussed the fact that unless we see huge changes in the mindset of this team, we are headed to 8-8 again

The simple fact is that Jerruh has pushed Cowboy fans to accept mediocrity by coming out over and over with the same old rah rah banter and that we are only a couple of players away from a championship when the facts show different ...this latest Monday Night game was a perfect example of it:

The defense could not hold up when needed, twice allowed long drives when a stop would have changed the face of the game, are we the only defense in the NFL that can't hide a weakness? Our safeties and lack of a pass rusher not named Ware are so well documented, you would think we would find a scheme that would help, we don't try to change it up, go to a 4-3 look? a 46? Nope, we play the same 2 under gap/ flip flop Ware and when he moves to the weak side, the TE comes back in motion and chips him...but we were #1 going into the game!!!! Look at the Qb's we played and the fact we had 6 months to get ready for game 1.....but pass the kool aid


Play calling and adaptation the OC refused to change it up and kept using the same calls/blocking schemes and when that didn't work? Give up on the run entirely? Gee, where did I hear/see that before? It was 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011...and now it's starting again? But...but ..it's the new o line, they will get better.......no.....they suck, but why not go to 3 step drops, mis-directions? I understand that Murray is getting hit every play, but damn, a draw, using spread offense ......anything new, but no, we use the same line blocking schemes, Romo has to make all the line calls and audible out and wait until the last 2 seconds before we snap the ball....but we will get better...kool aid

Facts are we are not well coached, or if we are, we are a stupid team because we can't seem to get past the stupid mental mistakes or be at the right place, or line up right, and then when we make a mistake, we don't have the mental make up ....but we have the RKG ...more kool aid

Simple fact is Shango is right here, the Boys have been spinning their wheels in the same spot and make excuses...the early Jerruh years were not like this at all....remember " We will win, we mst win".....now Jerruh makes excuses, Garrett makes excuses, Romo makes excuses and all are so damn P/C anymore, I can't stand listening to it...and before you tell me I'm not a Cowboy fan, I am a die hard fan that's tired of the kool aid

That's the message I hear from Shango, and I applaud him for saying it...thanks for it my friend....

We played awful against the bucs. if Freeman and their oc wasn't so bad, we likely lose that game too. The Giants game was by far, the best the boys' have played since middle of last season.

I said expect not know they will lose. It sucks and I hope every week for a win.. in the mid 90s I expected this team to win.. as late as 99, I expected them to win.

Over time and with this core group, I've learned through disappointment that I should expect the worst and hope for the best.

17 years of mainly losing will to that to ya!

3 years ago, when I first saw it, I was cracking up. I've shared the link to that video several dozen times. I'd say I thought it was creative.

So what did you find funny about the first one? I find it hard to believe that you would find a Shango's Kool-Aide videos funny when they are mocking fans like you. You are trying to attack the creativity of the video because you can't attack the contents of it. When in fact the genius of the video is that 3 years have past and this organization is still feeding us the same thing and some are still drinking it.

Well I believe the fans took the assault harder than the players do unfortunately lol. I hope they are hurting like I was but I doubt it. But yea I Too hope things get better in the future. It can start this Sunday though lol. The division is there for the taking. NO one is running from it. Hopefully the Cowboys see this as opportunity.

I realized this a few years ago when we played the Eagles. I forget the exact game, but I remember we were winning, and it was late in the game. McNabb just ran for a critical first down, and all I remember was Brady James smiling and laughing with McNabb after he got the yards.

Meanwhile, I was screaming and almost blowing a gasket as a result of the first down. That right there made me realize that these guys say the right things, but they are all friends on the field and money is what really matters.

That was hilarious, and sadly some of those excuses have been used by many on this site in an effort to keep hope alive. You Jerry has talked alot about "progress stoppers" in the
past. Going forward I am labeling him the "HOPE KILLER"....

You couldn't be more right even if you tried. It's all good when the video's are optimistic, but when the Cowboys rip Shango's heart out and the videos turn negative, then look out. All the sudden they aren't "creative".

Excellent post. Thank you for that! One thing that has been fixed is snapping the ball with 2 seconds or less on the clock. I noticed the last 2 games we have been snapping the ball with plenty of time on the clock and guess what? There have barely been pre-snap penalties. Wow, it only took them how many years to figure that out?

Funny that the kool aid drinkers were saying Tony liked to do that so he could read the defenses and it made perfect sense etc. Even though, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, and any of the other elite QB's rarely ever do it.

JG does learn from mistakes, it just takes him way too long to learn. We need a coach with a lot more "creativity" and balls on this team. My fear is we won't ever get one with Jerry in charge.

What I said, and continue to say, is that Shango did not need to revive this skit, because he is so creative. It was funny then. It is funny now. So what if it "mocks fans like me."
