Shemar James Overall Grade is 35.5 which is the 2nd worst linebacker in the league. 82 our of 83 linebackers. YUCK. He is still young and was a late round draft pick so lets hope he can turn it around.

Kenneth Murray Overall Grade is 40, which is 78th our of 83 qualifying linebackers.

As much as we called Jack Sanborn slow and etc, he is/was our best linebacker. He had an overall grade of 56.3 and was rated 56th our of 83 linebackers.

Yes none of them have been anything near good. Is it the coaching? Our linebacker play has been laughable, well technically our whole defensive play has been laughable but the linebacker play has been super duper bad.

Yeah. Vets at the end of the line. Cmon, you know Jerry holds onto young guys because he wants to be right. Just like Mingo...who has done zero. nothing. nada. You think Jerry would cut him after trying to sell the NFL on him getting a great deal for trading a 4th for this nobody?

The Bears had a rookie 7th round RB go for 176 yards and I dont care if it was the Bengals. Yet we celebrate a "burst of 8 yards" by our rookie 5th rounder. It's insane. By the way, the Bears rookie 7th rounder had 26 carries. So he played the entire game. But we hold on to to Blue so he can be "developed".

The Cowboys have not been serious about putting top resources into drafting RBs since Zeke. With that said we have a pretty good running game this year even if the rookie is not playing much and a bears rookie is. Oddly enough the guy we cut at RB instead of keeping is killing it in Dowdle. The bears RB is Swift and he is doing more than a rookie...Just as Williams is doing more for us than a rookie.

James has plenty of upside but is only playing because of injuries to the LB corp. Not being mean here but that is pretty simple thing to understand.

The run D gave up about 3.8 ypc when he was on the field. Then 6.5 when he was off. This may have improved slightly after the AZ game, but I'm not sure.

The pass D was terrible regardless of the LBs, but the run D wasn't just open gates earlier in the season like it has been as of late.

Watch Sanborn play and watch how many running backs drag him like a child.

One of the Cowboys biggest mistakes was letting Dowdle get away.

Shoot, though, I could see he could run between the tackles. But I figured he just want going to score much.

Javonte and Dowdle would be a lethal combo.

I admit. I always liked Dowdle way back. Knew he could prolly be good. But not this good. So I was happy to see him arrive and not that sad to see him go.

I was just kinda wrong on him not being kinda special. He's come a long way.

Murray should've never been signed, and then should've never made it out of camp. The entire NFL has known what he is for years, except Jerry.

James is a speed merchant w/ great upside. I mean, this dude can fly. And it's possible Wilson can get him straightened out.
