Overrated and a product of the system.

Depends what you think overrated is.

I got him as a top 5 corner.

My problem with him is he is aging and won't come without draft compensation.

I'd rather have Revis or McCourty for nothing.

Yeah, he's out of control right now LOL

Dude is a beast and a leader, this last year and a half is really unlike him. Something went down, something more than the SB failure, me thinks.

That defense, and Lynch, don't like Wilson very much. And they don't like that Carroll supports him the way he does. I think Sherman's right that their window for winning championships is closed.

Nice to infer that he thinks the Cowboys' window is wide open, though. He must not have heard that the HC has troubled with clock management.

He really isn't.
He is now when he is not on the team, nor does it appear he will ever be acquired.

But if he was, he suddenly would be the single missing puzzle piece and people around here would not dare say he was overrated or a product of the system. Those concerns would all magically go away, and even quicker if he was picked up at the "right price".

Russell Wilson does have a bit of a fake quality about him. Some have even pointed out that he is "not black enough".

Sherman is a pretty transparent person, he will speak his mind, right or wrong. He is a leader in that club house, so it is easy to see there could be friction.

Lol!! How could a player that great want to play for this floundering coaching staff ;)

Yeah, they really harbor a lot of resentment with the playcall in SB XLIX. They knew Beast Mode should have gotten the rock. I can't blame them, but the next season they were mostly in check (minus the holdout [contract] from Kam, that ended around week 2 or 3 if memory serves). It's really festered, yet Sherm is going hella public, and had a couple dealios on the sidelines last season with the coaches. The rest of the D is quietly holding their resentment (from the mass media).

He needs to get over it and get back to balling or this could affect his leadership qualities. Russell is their franchise QB, and rightfully so. Dude's a stud. Sherm can't compete with that. He is part of that Legion of Boom and they need him and he needs them.

I don't believe their window is closed, not with Carroll and Wilson and most of their D still intact. But Sherm is not making it any easier.

Lol, well there you have it. :)

You could tell after that pick in the Superbowl that Lynch and company were really not happy with the powers that be in SEA. Tough to blame them, really. That defense was the engine their run was built around. So much fun to watch those teams play.
Oh, talk about speaking out, Lynch flat out despises Carroll. He was in Hungary (or maybe it was Turkey) right after the Super Bowl loss going off on Carroll on a local radio station.

Saying that Carroll wanted his guy (Wilson) to get the MVP and that he (Lynch) would have most likely received it had he scored.

One cool story in the NFL this year is gonna be Lynch playing ball in his hometown. Seattle handled the trade (releasing of his rights) very classy.
