That defense, and Lynch, don't like Wilson very much. And they don't like that Carroll supports him the way he does. I think Sherman's right that their window for winning championships is closed.

Nice to infer that he thinks the Cowboys' window is wide open, though. He must not have heard that the HC has troubled with clock management.

Lol!! How could a player that great want to play for this floundering coaching staff ;)

Yeah, they really harbor a lot of resentment with the playcall in SB XLIX. They knew Beast Mode should have gotten the rock. I can't blame them, but the next season they were mostly in check (minus the holdout [contract] from Kam, that ended around week 2 or 3 if memory serves). It's really festered, yet Sherm is going hella public, and had a couple dealios on the sidelines last season with the coaches. The rest of the D is quietly holding their resentment (from the mass media).

He needs to get over it and get back to balling or this could affect his leadership qualities. Russell is their franchise QB, and rightfully so. Dude's a stud. Sherm can't compete with that. He is part of that Legion of Boom and they need him and he needs them.

I don't believe their window is closed, not with Carroll and Wilson and most of their D still intact. But Sherm is not making it any easier.
He's trying to T.O. his way out of Seattle.

he is a head case now and will disrupt the locker room....for NE, expectations are to keep your mouth shut and do your job...and obviously with him being on the sideline telling the head coach they should run the ball...same head coach who won college championships and superbowl.....

image him in NE... and as for dallas,,,,thanks but no thanks...he already is playing head games with Wilson and don't need that with Dak.... they should trade him to Cleveland.

But he's on the defensive side of the ball.....so if he doesn't smoke pot, or take PED's, or beat on women, he's clearly not qualified.

Sherman is definitely overrated. Nothing but a product of the system but probably not Byron Maxwellish either. The Seahawks defense in the dominance days had a sick DLine, awesome LB's, and spectacular safeties. Brandon Browner and Byron Maxwell are a perfect example of a changing scheme/support system. I am not saying he is terrible by any means, but he isn't a true shutdown corner like others and I wouldn't even put him in my top 10. If he goes to a system where the #1 shadows the #1, I think he will struggle. With that being said for the right price pick wise, anyone could be a solid acquisition.

..I've really never much cared for Sherman, particularly his big mouth!....but in saying that...he might be a fit for the Boys at the right price!...He's also getting up there in age, so I'd deduct a little $$$ there also!...:)

I'd consider it if the price was decent. We severely need a veteran presence back there to teach these young guys. I'm looking at more than just the performance on field. We need a guy who has gotten it done to mentor these young guys.
