I'm really glad Tony pulled this one out for us, man did we play some ugly football for 3+ quarters... multiple drops by the receivers, poor tackling, over pursuit, this was an ugly win for us....
But a wins a win!! Just sucks that it comes with the expense of Dez and Gregory out for 4-6, plus Leary for ?? (not sure the extent of the injury)
These next 4-6 games are crutial for this year, if we can hold on for the next couple games we should be ok coming into Thanksgiving....
Defensively we'll have Ro, Hardy coming back after 4... which should bolster this unit tremendously... which in turn will make the lack of Gregory much easier to manage
No Dez is going to hurt, i dont know what was up with him tonight he just looked "off", i didnt see that fire ive seen from him in the past, ill tell you, these Receivers really need to step up, because tonight wasnt pretty, Beas did his thing but hes got to hold onto the ball.... TWill looked pretty bad tonight, cant lie... hopefully those bright flashes of talent start becoming more consistent....
Running game looked 'ok', didnt wow me but i wasnt disappointed, i think both Randle and DMC looked ok, i just fear that without Dez we're going to see a lot of stacked boxes and I dont think either of those two will fair well with 8 guys in the box, its not their style...
Eh... enough rambling, time to enjoy the win, get some rest and start looking towards next week's matchup
