Simple question; Woodson started and finished his career in Dallas (not that it matters) Is the all time leader in tackles.

He set a Cowboys franchise record for tackles for a defensive back, with 155 in hid second season.
5× Pro Bowl selection (1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998)
3× All-Pro selection (1994, 1995, 1996)
3× Super Bowl champion (XXVII, XXVIII, XXX)

What do you think? In or Not?

i would because i love Darren, and the player he was, but i may be basing that off emotion and not stats, since its Not for the whole league, sure what the heck.

But if not same case can be made.

He probably should, but I don't think he was as visible as some of the other guys.

He'll get HoF before RoH.

Yes, eventually, but not yet. That one needs to simmer a while longer.

I'd like to see a few others first.

1. Harvey Martin
2. Jimmy Johnson
3. Too Tall Jones
4. Everson Walls (played at a bad time here)
5. Danny White (yes, he should be)

Plus, there needs to be consideration for linemen like Pat Donovan, Blaine Nye, Ralph Neely, John Fitzgerald, etc.

You don't get into the HOF before the Ring of Honor though.

Yea that's the thing there are more deserving players who need to be in right now but he definitely should be.

I was gonna put that into my post. I think he made it past the first set of nominations in 2011, but no RoH. Crazy simply Crazy.

He pretty much has the same individual accolades as Haley, so there's that. But since I think Haley is actually somewhat overrated, that would probably mean Woodson is borderline as well (in my book).

If any Cowboy from that era should be in the ROH, it should be Darren Woodson. The guy was the epitome of a team player, unlike Emmitt Smiff. He was able to retain some of his integrity post-NFL, too, unlike Aikman. I'd say Novacek and Moose belong there, too.

If he can't make the Cowboys HOF he'll never even sniff The pro football HOF. He has an outside shot at the ROH but wasn't even close to a HOF player.

There's no rule against it but if a player isn't good enough for their teams ROH the HOF voters will take note of it and not even consider that player. No one knows a player like their own team. The HOF is a far more select group than a teams ROH.

Whoa? What are you insinuating in regards to Emmitt and Aikman? This is the first of me hearing of this.

Its not a rule but you can't name me a current player who made the HOF before the ROH. That's just how its been.

Some believe that's what was holding Drew Pearson back for all these years....

This is true but I will say for the Cowboys that most of the guys in their ROH deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. But yea you're not getting into the Hall of Fame before the ROH. Tex might've done it but he was clearly an exception.

Yea Tex Schramm was in the HOF long before he was in the ROH.

Tex was just 3 years removed from being the Cowboys President/GM before being inducted into the HOF. No one has ever been inducted into the Cowboys ROH during their tenure with the team. It took awhile for Tex to be inducted into the Cowboys ROH due to how things went down during Landry's firing in 89. There was some obvious ill feelings between Tex and Jerry so it took time for those wounds to heal and for him to be inducted into the ROH.

Huh? Either you are Troy's drunk ex-wife, or you're Martin Lawrence.

And absolutely not Novacek or Moose. You'd have to let 100 more in if you did that, and it should remain exclusive.
