Also the fan base would've melted down had JJ let wade coach to a 3-13 record. JJ is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Right decision was made in letting him go. Wrong decision was made in promoting doofus to HC as an on the job "trainee" to a billion dollar company.

At 3-13 we would have had the second pick. We probably would have taken patrick peterson. In the second round, picks 2-9 were CB Aaron Williams, Andy Dalton, Colin Kaep, Jabal Sheard, Ryan Williams, Akeem Ayers, and Bruce Carter.

We'd probably still be in the exact same spot, at least in terms of personnel.

Don't worry, if we don't make the playoffs next year it's clean house time from top to bottom (well - not the top top) and I think Jerry will be forced to bring in a big name to appease the fan base who like Parcells will want to do a lot of things his way and I think only then will we see an organizational difference.

That said, I hope we have a great draft, make some moves and have some success in the playoffs next season, but I just don't see it.

I agree, that coaching staff should have been flushed top to bottom. You dont reward the assistant head coach when his unit was getting destroyed too.
