Should I be ashamed of this?

I may end up visiting Commanders training camp next weekend.

(GASP!)

My wife and I work for the same employer. She works full time, while I do a little work for them on the side in addition to my public relations business. She told me last night that our employer is a sponsor of training camp this year (I don't keep up with that stuff, really) and that the A/V department is going to Skins training camp next weekend to shoot some video. She asked if I wanted to go because they needed someone to help identify players and maybe conduct some interviews.

I'll probably go. Even if it IS the hated Commanders, it's professional football and it's pretty cool to go to camp for a day. As sponsors we'll probably get free food and such. If they give me shirts and hats or something, I'll just give them to friends who are Skins fans, or I'll sell them on eBay, or I'll burn them ... whatever mood strikes me.

Obviously I can't wear my Cowboys attire. It's a shame I don't have some very subtle pin or something. Any other ideas?

Go and have fun. I went to the Forty Whiners camp a couple of times when I lived in Calif. When you return, give us your impression of their QB and some others.

You can go to the Commanders camp...but, make sure that you and your lady stop off at a local car wash so she can hose you down real good! Throw in a few more quarters and wash her up too!!

Wear some sunglasses! All that god-awful ketchup and mustard colors will ruin your one good eye!

Tell them you're recruiting for the circus and you heard they have a midget available.

I was hoping you would wear some Cowboy's attire, until I heard that you were not allowed.

Go and have fun. Enjoy the fact that it is time to prepare for another season in the NFL. It's just a great time of year. Almost like a being a kid again, anticipating Christmas morning weeks in advance.

You and I are roughly in the same boat. I am somewhat required to attend Pittsburgh Steeler's camp every year due to the fact that my wife and her family are die-hard fans of the Steelers and b/c we live only 20 minutes away from their training camp in Latrobe, PA.

But, I am a football fan in general, and crave any kind of NFL activity this time of year.

of course not. If I could I would go. I have been to a bunch of bills camps and I went to the giants camp one time also.
