Only thing JG should let Zeke do......help bring a ring to Dallas. That's all.
I would, but I am a little crazy, lol.
He is a young guy he doesnt need to be rested, and I think he wants that record.
Also it is a one time only chance to do it, since it is a rookie record.
Also Dickerson said EE could not break his record !! I say he can !
It would add to his threat level if he breaks it, like being leading rusher etc.
So I say let him go for it.
When OJ broke the 2000 barrier, his OL and really whole team were behind him and wanted him
to do that.
So our OL would share in that record with EE.
I doubt they let him do it or give him enough carries, but I think it would be good for the team as a whole
to try and do it.
Yeah just so we never have to hear Eric dickerson talk about it wont be broken again ! Works for me let's get it ZekeWhen you think about it, does anybody really want to own the E.D. record?
(it was funnier before the thread title was tweaked)
This is not an easy decision (for me) because he is SOOOO CLOSE... But I have to agree here. We have bigger fish to fry.I care more about a deep playoff run (and chance at the Super Bowl) than wearing down my RB and. Exposing him to injury in meaningless games.
255 on 22 carries sounds goodIt'd be pretty interesting next week if Zeke goes off for another ~160 v. Detroit. If it's in reach, it gives the whole team something to work towards to keep things focussed for a the next two games. As long as the carries don't spike dramatically.
Just think how much closer the record would be if a couple of the big runs weren't called back by holding calls early in the year.
Dak refrained initially, but he has a commercial.Like Zeke and DAK have refrained from doing commercials and other personal goals to focus on football..
Records for rushing records needs to go.

Zeke has shot several commercials. He shot commercials before he was even drafted.
