Really tired of hearing Jaws talk about all the coaches tape he's watched.

When it was on ABC, I turned down the sound and listen to Boomer.

A public service would be an alternative broadcast with Brad Sham.

“[Monday Night Football] isn’t what it used to be.'’

– Peyton Manning, offering some unexpected criticism of the new MNF crew

“I enjoyed watching [Eli] play on Monday night because I got a chance to see him play live on TV, and being able to watch the game in mute. Because it’s an easier way to watch the game than hear some of those broadcasters.'’

– Manning
Not a big fan of either Manning here, but bravo! I am really disappointed in Jaworski, he has a lot of football knowledge but as a broadcaster, he has been the pits. Tony Kornheiser adds nothing but dry sarcasm.

I'd like to see Sterling Sharpe in the booth, he did a great job for NFL Network last year. Deion Sanders would spice things up too! Boomer Esiason is also a great analyst.

MNF should go oldschool. Bring back the music, get the stupid graphics off the screen. Stop worrying about making the guys in the booth entertaining. Sideline reporters should be ex-players and not attractive women. Stop cross-promoting stupid ABC shows. Spend the money on more cameras to get multiple angles, but not the stupid flying cable cam stuff. I don't want to hear TO introducing the starting offensive lineup.

The reconstituted chicken-parts they're throwing up there right now are not watchable. They need to make MNF for the hardcore football fan again and let SNF and the weekend games concentrate on widening the viewing audience.

But I like attractive women telling me how bad the injury was, it takes some of the pain out of it. :lmao2:

Kornheiser is horrible. I am not sure if they set out to find the worst person for the job, but Kornheiser is pretty close to it.

He's not as bad as Dennis Miller was, Miller made me want to punch my television.

I agree. Maybe they need to have a contest where a fan each week gets to work in the booth with Trico and Jaws. Hell it could not be worse than Kornhole. :laugh1:

I'm glad peyton said something, it's going to take complaining by high profile people to have some changes made to MNF.

What's Monday Night Football?

Oh, he means that PTI and ABC pimpfest with the little NFL game in the background. Got it.

Truth be told, I kind of do, too. But whenever I see women on the sidelines it makes me think about how hard the league is working to bring in other fan demographics. By and large, this is a good thing, but it would be nice to have MNF as an oldschool game for hardcore fans each week.

I don't like them either, but one thing I really wish they would quit doing is bringing in every tom dick and hairy to the booth each week.

Every week they spend 10 minutes talking to someone and completely stop talking about the thing that everyone is there to see THE GAME. Its idiotic and it drives me nuts. I don't care what Kimell is doing...Russel Crowe talking about rugby? Charles Barkly for gods sake?!? Get a clue ESPN, its ridiculous.

I realize that ABC with Micheals and Madden used to do this, but it was on occasion, and not every freaking week. Monday night football is becoming a joke as far as what goes on in the booth.

Monday Night Football is an institution.

These guys they have on there now should be institutionalized.

I agree but now days there are many women who are into the game just like us guys so why not have them be part of it? I think Suzie does a good job and she nice to look at as well.

There is no doubt that Sunday Night Football is now more important than Monday night football.

I agree. I would much rather watch the game called by Michaels and Madden than the MNF trio.
