Bowles has not done a horrible job but we need to cut ties with Zimmer and every coach that he has touched.

Bowles was just brought in last season and our secondary (except for Keith Davis) played the best they've played in years.

We need to keep Bowles.

I think Sparano is the biggest waste of them all.

ever see Santana Moss steaking by us? or the dude from San fran, or jeremy shockey late in the 4th? Bowles only saving grace is that Newman has had a great year.

Find me a secondary in the NFL that didn't give up a big play all year.

Have fun looking for one.

Anyone that thinks our secondary wasn't very good this year is completely clueless.

I agree. With a fully healthy secondary, we would be shut-down. Too bad we ALWAYS get hit BADLY by the injury bug...Who is responsible for reducing injuries, because I would fire him on the spot. How many people did we have on IR? 12?

Joe Juraszek - strength and conditioning

Has a big part in it.

I don't think we had a big injury problem this year (not compared to the average in the NFL). We just lost players at positions we couldn't afford to lose.

that's true but I do have issues with the Henry injury and how it was handled.

So fire a strength and conditioning coach (who won an award last year) because of ONE injury that wasn't handled to your liking?

Yeah, that's smart.

Keep:
Bowles
Lynn
Haley

Neutral:
DeHaven (he does okay for the most part)
Payton (he gets by with pretty marginal OL play for many years)
MacIntye (can't judge him)

Get rid of:
Zimmer (defense way too vanilla)
Sprano (can give him back TE coach is Pasqualoni sent packing)
Lee (messed with Henson's mechanics)
Rodgers (DL have not played up to potential for many years)
Juraszek (Get Woicik back)
Gibbs (not impressed with LB play here for many years)
Pasqualoni (don't know why he's here)

Lee (messed with Henson's mechanics)

Yeah, that was all on Lee.

And he didn't mess with his mechanics, he tweaked his throwing motion. There's a difference.

Now we are talking about one of the biggest yet untold problems with our Cowboys....the coaching staff isn't very good. Easily this is BP's weakest staff ever as a HC. Hopefully he can make a few changes this off season to improve this group of very important people. Aside from the scouting dept. I don't have much faith in some of those guys. It is very frustrating to watch other NFL teams play and see them make plays and know one of the asst coaches are responsible. When I think of our coaching staff under Jimmy Johnson compared to now I can only shake my head.
