It’s not like it could get worse lol he did play some at DE in college so he at least knows where to lineup. Give everything a tryWith this defense no idea should be "Off the board"

He'd be an undersized DE. The guy sucks. Flat out sucks and got that huge contract.Should they try Osa at DE?
Especially since Winfrey is coming back.
Clowney is the only DE that isn’t undersized in this group.
I think he could be a DeMarcus Lawrence type DE.
Osa is 280lbs. He’s not undersized for a DE. Ezeiruaku and Houston are both 245lbs. Sam Williams and Clowney are both 260lbs.He'd be an undersized DE. The guy sucks. Flat out sucks and got that huge contract.
Forgive me for asking was trying to understand the 5/2? I did notice that we were getting sacks against AZ, which I though were good. I still felt lost at what they were doing. Will bringing in Williams and running this kind of front going to help the defense? Do you think that this will help Bland by not making him have to keep contain coverage for a long time plus he don't have to worry about anyone else coverage. This is what I'm hoping. Go 5-2 on early downs with Eze, Odighizuwa, Clark, Williams and Clowney as the primary linemen and Overshown and Wilson as the primary linebackers. We don't have to rush five every time when we do that. We can drop a lineman into a zone. But it creates a power front against the run and offenses will have to figure out whose coming against the pass.
We tried some five-man fronts against Arizona, but couldn't cover well enough and probably rushed five a few too many times because we had had trouble getting pressure.
Just be glad on Kneeland's TD recovery that Sam didn't outrun everybody and kick the ball into the third row.Its a shame that Sam Williams has all that Speed but nothing between the ears. I was really hoping he would take a leap but looks like he took a flop backward.
I just had a Leon Flash back! lolJust be glad on Kneeland's TD recovery that Sam didn't outrun everybody and kick the ball into the third row.
exactly, you can't just go 3-4 with a majority of players who have never practiced in it.Williams, Osa and Clark are all 3 technique. While Williams has played NT, he’s better in a 3-4 that lets him penetrate more easily. He’s a good psss rusher and great at stopping runners behind the line.
Also, changing to a 3-4 mid season is crazy
