He'd be an undersized DE. The guy sucks. Flat out sucks and got that huge contract.
 
I'm not worried about size so much with Osa. He's plenty big He's got a wrestling background. And is strong. So give it a shot. It cannot hurt.

Osa is 280lbs. He’s not undersized for a DE. Ezeiruaku and Houston are both 245lbs. Sam Williams and Clowney are both 260lbs.

Forgive me for asking was trying to understand the 5/2? I did notice that we were getting sacks against AZ, which I though were good. I still felt lost at what they were doing. Will bringing in Williams and running this kind of front going to help the defense? Do you think that this will help Bland by not making him have to keep contain coverage for a long time plus he don't have to worry about anyone else coverage.
 
Its a shame that Sam Williams has all that Speed but nothing between the ears. I was really hoping he would take a leap but looks like he took a flop backward.

Just be glad on Kneeland's TD recovery that Sam didn't outrun everybody and kick the ball into the third row.
 
Osa, at 280-285lbs. is the right size to play the 4T-5T roles (Zach Allen and John Franklin-Myers are both listed between 285-290). While he’s only 6’2”, Osa has really long arms (34+”) to play the leverage game. As long as he could set the edge and push the pocket, he’d be fine out there. Remember, DLaw was only averaging like 4.5 sacks the last 6 years after he got his $20M/year deal. I’m betting OSA’s sack numbers could improve facing less-physical tackles. Just my $.02…
 
I have thought about him at RDE for a year and would really like to see it. I think he might be good. He wouldn’t be undersized like he is at DT. What can it hurt to take a look.

exactly, you can't just go 3-4 with a majority of players who have never practiced in it.

plus also wouldn't that be putting more emphasis on our LB's which are currently the worst part of our D, imho?
