According to Adam Schefter Ty Law is interested into signing with the Dallas Cowboys and if he signs this week he could play sunday. He also mention that Ty Law has lowered is asking price.

No thanks.

Hes just a development stopper.

We'll be glad we let Mike Jenkins & Orlando Scandrick go through their growing pains now and not later.

Ty Law would bring instant leadership back there in the secondary... Sign him for cheap, I'm all for it.

I don't think you realize how weak we are at corner and I don't mean as talent goes. You have Henry, Scandrick and Jenkins and that's it. We're a corner injury away from having only 2 corners left on the roster. I'd say we're in desperate need of another corner. What Law has left? Not sure. Didn't even know he was a free agent.

I see a lot of people bashing the guy but i must confess, i don't know how he performed the last couple seasons. I know he had the 10 int's in 05. I'm guessing he didn't look good in 07? But then again, what's looked good in KC the last year and a half?

alan ball is also on the roster.

We are fine. As long as these 4 stay healthy we are fine.

Sign him now because he won't be comfortable in the scheme until after newman gets back. Then we'll have some decent depth again.

I believe the Cowboys are really hurting at the secondary position and need more playmakers that can play and teach some of the younger players some new techniques and tricks to playing the position.

For the right price, I would love to see Ty Law in a Cowboy uniform.

Just imagine once everyone is healthy.

Terrence Newman
Anthony Henry
Adam Jones
Ty Law
Mike Jenkins
Orlando Scandrick

Which will be arguably the best secondary in the league that hasn't put it all together yet.

Get this done ASAP Jerry - Law would help the two kids right off the bat.

Well he doesn't have a job so that tells you something right there. I don't think he'd come in here and make our secondary dominant. He doesn't even start. But to add another body out there doesn't hurt. I still expect Scandrick and Jenkins to get a lot of play on Sunday. I've heard nothing but rave reviews about them especially Scandrick so if that's the case why stop their development? Law is just another body. Not a starter or a guy to take minutes from our corners. Just to help them catch a breather.

I think you give Ty Law too much credit lol. He's a 34 year old cornerback who isn't in football shape or hasn't played a game this season anyway. He's not the Ty Law you remember with the Pats or even the Ty Law who played 2 years ago. I'm for bringing him in for depth concerns but nothing more.

Answer this for me, who would you rather have checking Wide Receivers as the 4th Conerback in the dime defense, Cortney Brown, Roy Williams, Allan Ball, or Ty Law?

Oh that's an easy answer, Ty Law because he's no worse than Aaron Glenn.

I know stats are a HUGE bone of contention on this board, but the guy had nearly 50 tkls(tied with TNew), 2 int's and a very respectable 13 pass D's. That would be second to Hamlin and tied with TNew in 07.

Probably Ty Law. I'd just be cautious about what i'm really expecting out of a 34 year old cornerback.

Give me ty law. Maybe he can play a little FS too. maybe we can use him like Bill bates back in the day, call it "Nickle Law" I can hear Madden now...great players like him can always add something, ask a Pats fan. Its up to the coaches to scheme it right! He will be our best Blitzing DB and it won't even be close
