Should We Go After Tim Tebow.

Merge thread with other guy who was hittin' the bottle hard on a Monday?

One thing Cowboys fans know how to do is boo. I can only imagine Cowboys stadium after a few weeks of Tebow missing his target by 5-10 yds. Does anyone even remember all the scenarios that went Denver's way while Tebow was winning? And then do you remember what happened in New england? I would honestly give up my allegiance to the Cowboys if they signed Tebow to be a QB.

Before you attack me thinking why would we do that let me explain why I infact believe we should.

1) It probably wont take more than our 4th round pick.
2) He has proven he can win in the NFL.
3) No one would expect him to start over Romo, gives him a few years to continue to improve.
4) He has shown the desire and willingness to work harder than anyone else to get better.
5) The media storm would be hilarious.

maybe you should of thought first before posting this nonsense if you didn't want people attacking you.....lol

but NO I don't want that spare of a quarterback on this team..Tebow needs to change positions soon, he's not an NFL quarterback..

talk about leading with your chin. posting a thread like this is textbook masochism.

I don't want the circus in Dallas that is over in Denver. It's a mess.

He would be no more than an H Back. I like Tebow. I like him for his beliefs and his work ethic. But I don't see it happening.

If they cut him I'd look at him as another tight end prospect. I don't thing there is any other position he can play effectively, and I'm not even sure about the tight end position. I like him a lot, but I just don't believe he is a talented enough thrower to ever effectively play the qb position.

I posted in the other Tebow thread that I trade one of our 6th for him then convert him to TE with the occasional wildcat formation thrown in.

I'd take him over McGee, no draft picks, no guaranteed money, year to year deal.

Perfect idea. I'm with that.

And I know you will not agree with me Hos ...... but I would much rather have Tebow out there than Orton.

But there is no way we would trade for him ..... so its irrelevant.

So we would have to change our offense into a a wildcat to get to the strengths of tebow. No thanks. I would much rather have orton out there

The Cult of Tebow knows no bounds.

I knew this thread would be on the board before I even logged in today.

To each their own, but seriously?

I'd love to see it. We're not winning a super bowl any time soon, so Jones might as well make Valley Ranch as big a circus as possible.
