Could they go 16-0? Perhaps the Lions and Bears have the Defense to make Rodgers look Human for one game and can slow him down enough to beat them since the Packers D is not that good.

But no disrespect to Brady I think that Rodgers is the best QB in the NFL right now hands down. I don't see anyone at this point beating them but of course that can change in a few weeks.

Interesting to see if Dallas could go on a run and make the playoffs and face that Packers if they have the Defense to stop Rodgers ad if Romo could have a good game against their bad Pass D.

They're looking pretty dang good right now. 8-0 is absolutely impressive.

That does mean though they still have quite a bit of football left to get through and who knows what happens over their next 8 games.

The defense is giving up too many points for me to say they win out this year.

I wonder if they clinch HFA if they will rest their players (especially those that are banged up) last game or two, even with a bye. Or just play them for a couple of series/quarters, then rest them.

Too soon. But looking ahead there are a lot more W's:

Mon 11/14 Minnesota 8:30 pm
Sun 11/20 Tampa Bay 1:00 pm
Thu 11/24 at Detroit 12:30 pm
Sun 12/4 at NY Giants 4:15 pm
Sun 12/11 Oakland 1:00 pm
Sun 12/18 at Kansas City 1:00 pm
Sun 12/25 Chicago 8:20 pm
Sun 1/1 Detroit 1:00 pm

I see them losing 1 maybe 2 games -- @ Detroit for Thanksgiving and possibly to the Giants.

Having said that, I wouldn't shock me if they won out.

The NFL has changed the rules of the game so much in the past few years and Aaron Rogers is the absolute prototype QB for the modern passing game.

Everybody keeps saying Rogers is bound to have a bad game.... What is a bad game to Rogers -- a 100 QB rating (30 below his average of 130 for the season)?

IMHO, the only thing standing between Green Bay getting to the Superbowl is the Eagles IF they make the playoffs. The Eagles have a good pass rush and at least 3 good cover corners which seems to be the only receipe that will slow down the Packers offense.

IF they lose, and that is a big IF, IMO it will be at the giants. They can get to Rogers with only 4 and can score on them.

Detroit will get beat by 30. There secondary is awful. Maybe chicago, but they can't score enough.

I hate to say it but the giants proved a lot to me yesterday.

The Eagles have the Offense to keep up with the Packers, when the Eagles Offense is on they are really hard to stop as we too badly found out.

I think that any team that has the Defense to slow Rodgers down can beat them because their D isn't that good and if a D can get Rodgers to have an off or average game, then the Packers D can rest on the Offense bailing them out and winning games for them as much

I'm sure they'll slip up somewhere, but someone is probably going to have to knock Rogers out. They've won 14 straight counting last year

I do think GB will drop a game and it could be anyone. There is a lot more added pressure the media will drop on GB as they get closer the perfect mark. It takes one slip up, one off day to end it until then the pressure will start to mount.

The pressure is already building. They go to San Diego and beat the Chargers at their place and normally it would be all roses -- all that would matter would be getting the "W". In this case, the Packers players themselves (as well as the media) immediately have to start explaining why they suck so hard on defense.

Makes going 8-0 not a whole lot of fun.

The only hope for the rest of the league is that GB slows down at the end of the season like the Pats did in 2007 (Pats started looking mortal even in the games before they lost the Super Bowl). The colder weather and pressure should start wearing on that offense at some point.

True. I think the Pack have the talent and ability to win vs any of the team out there but I also know the 85 Bears were extreamly dominate and they slipped up as do most. Pats came close as well but in the most pressure game any team will play such as the SB I think the added pressure of being undefeated only helped to do them in

Packers will not go undefeated this year. That record will fall next year when they go undefeated for their back to back to back super bowl wins. Give Ted another offseason to get Matthews some help on the defense. :)

Yeah because talking about it makes sure that it won't happen :laugh1:

Seriously, though, they need to tighten up that pass defense.
