Scouts at the Senior Bowl predict Troy Smith will not go in first round of the draft. Some scouts and analysts say Smith has clearly been the best quarterback there, which seemed apparent yesterday watching the wobble on the longer passes of Michigan State's Drew Stanton. Others think he has been average and hasn't helped or hurt his stock.

Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio has expressed interest in the Cowboys' vacant coaching job. But he doesn't appear to be a serious candidate. Del Rio still has 2 years left on his deal in Jacksonville, and Jerry Jones hasn't asked the Jags for permission to talk to him.
