Next guy who gets on a kid who skips these postseason drills needs a whooping! Thats a ton of $ blown, and a crushing heartache for him. He really had nothing left to prove.
It was on the very last drill too.

That is just heart breaking for him.

I could see us doing this. We had the all special teams draft. Now we will have the all injured draft

jones can be the jaylon smith of this draft.
except if 2 years are needed, he may be had in the 6th round.

Just horrible. The kid didn't even need to work out at this pro day, and he was a cinch first rounder. Now, he's lucky if he's drafted at all. Sad thing is, he'll never make this money back.

More on Sidney Jones.

I’m told he was backpedaling during a drill, went to flip his hips, then the turf grabbed his foot.

Those who witnessed his said the injured foot was tough to look at with one person telling me it was “grotesque” the way his left foot was hanging

Seeing nothing but confirmation for a torn Achilles.

Sad for the player. Fearful we might actually take another redshirt.

Don't get me wrong, absolutely love the player and I don't care for corners.

Just tired of the practice.

I'm not joking when I say he's improved his chances of being a Cowboy. Nobody's more likely to take this risk than Jerry Jones. They're getting an extra first round pick in their mind.

Absolutely it does. But since CB is a "need" they would not take a red shirt at that position. They seem to do it for linebackers that they can afford to wait on.

A team with multiple seconds or thirds will probably take him.

Joe Banner is all but guaranteeing that the Browns take him.

He can spend time in the cold bath with Jaylon.

Make it down....He will be a Patriot w/ the 3/72 pick they got from Panthers.. Plus Kony Ealy....Just the Patriots robbing the blind again!!!

Fine with taking Sid in third but would love to get another 3rd via Romo draft. Make it an all Jones 3rd, CB Sidney Jones and S Josh Jones.

3/4 of secondary would be Jones in 2018: Byron, Josh & Sidney (plus Anthony Brown)

Why couldn't they double dip? And what if they bring Claiborne or Carr back? I don't think it's as big of a need then.

Pretty much what I thought. Although, I don't see any position as a need this year. Draft BPA. In this draft, secondary will be best available at least once. I'd double dip just because this draft is loaded.

Jones in the third would be great, but I think a team with multiple picks will take him before then.

Not many injuries worse than an Achilles for a CB. I'm thinking he drops to third day now.
