if Zeke is not all that, then Dak must be really good
Charts help educate the uneducated, charmin is good for covering up weed smoke and a couple other things.Charts and charmin each have their uses. But in the end (no pun intended) ................i look forward to seeing Zeke coached by mac. Dak, too.
Because I was replying to someone elsebut the chart showed percentage of runs. what does that have to do with dink and dunk...
the chart very obviously shows when we are winning, we try to eat the clock and we run a lot more....
We really don't.Charts help educate the uneducated, charmin is good for covering up weed smoke and a couple other things.
Glad we agree.
Zeke is one of the most consistent backs in this league. Has put elite numbers since in came in this league and yet to miss a game due to injury. Cowboy OL is solid, but by no means an elite unit. He is a power back that grinds out yardage and moves the sticks. To say he is overrated isn't factual what so ever, it's totally based on your own opinion, but not by the actual rushing statistics. His numbers were very good last season and should of been even better if the team wasn't trying to play catch up most of the time. Perhaps you want more of a homerun type of back, not a power back like Zeke Elliot is.
Also....Zeke is an excellent blocker. Perhaps the best in the game?
Nope. Just wondering what fellow zoners thought. I think Zeke is a complete back. He's pretty good for being a diva. Did you have someone in mind that was better?
Here is an article about best pass blocking RBs in 2019. It is from PFF though and the norm is for them to be dismissed unless the rankings agree with an initial perception, so take it with a grain of salt.Also....Zeke is an excellent blocker. Perhaps the best in the game?
Not according to this at the time it was written mid season last year. Once again zeke comes up short where he allegedly excels according to the homers who refuse to look outside the Cowboys bubble.Also....Zeke is an excellent blocker. Perhaps the best in the game?
Agree we need to get more stops, but you can clearly see in the data I posted that Zeke’s effectiveness as a runner is far different in games we win than lose. We also don’t really Chang our plat calling until the 4th quarter.Since 2016 opponents have averaged 26 points in Cowboy defeats. Basically, if the Cowboys don't score four TDs they lose.
It's less about feeding Zeke and more about not getting enough stops.
“Teams load the box, and Dak takes advantage of play action,” Hyde said. “It’s something we have to account for and understand that it’s going to come.”
How often does Dak throw against stacked boxes and how does that compare to the other QBs in the league? It’s pretty obvious people don’t seem to understand that defenses can stack the box and Dak can still throw...
That’s more than evident from the fact that Dak got thirty percent of his yards on play action, by the time they played the Bills.
It’s no surprise that Dak was complete garbage, until garbage time, against 3 of the 4 teams in the top 5 defending play action on 20+ yards, including the Bears. Where were all the deep TDs he’s supposedly known for throwing?

They can gameplan all they want but if hes not running against additional defenders its just their guys being better than ours
You use the term "cherry picked" in everything you disagree with lol.It does no good to continue arguing points, that are cemented deep in cherry picked analyzations.
