Zeke faced stacked boxes less than he ever has in his career last year and less than ~23 other RB’s. Zeke demands respect from the public when even defenses don’t respect him anymore.

We can also run on the Skins, Giants and Dolphins which is why over half the games zeke ran for 100 yards last season were against those 3 teams who also happened to all be in the bottom 5 defensively.

People want to bash Dak for racking up yards against garbage teams but zeke gets a free pass and is actually applauded for it “he had more yards than any other RB”....just not against good teams mostly.

*funny you brought up the Broncos, the same game the huffy diva quit on his team. Real winner! That guy can’t handle the slightest bit of adversity, he’s been feeding alright, off a silver spoon his entire collegiate and NFL career. I would love to see him play behind the Giants O line, he would be tapping out or sitting out after the first quarter.
But the graph shows that feeding Zeke in the fourth helps us win.

It’s all about balance. Dink and dunk was a winning scheme. Then we changed it because everybody wanted 400 yards passing games. Then we prove we could do that. But obviously you lose because that’s all you do is pass and you’ll lose your balance. Prescott needs Elliot Elliot needs Prescott. It’s called team for a reason

Thank you.

The bottom line is that when good defenses stack the box to stop Zeke, there is no responding in the passing game

That fact was established is 2017 season against the Broncos. Stop the run, stop the Cowboys

But yeah, we can pass on The Commanders, Giants, and Dolphins all day long

That's on Kellen Moore to be more creative in his playcalling.

When Zeke was suspended for six games, Dak stunk up the joint. When Cooper wasn’t here, Dak stunk up the joint. When Smith is out, Dak stinks up the joint. He wasn’t average, he was bad.

The point is Dak stinks up the joint when he doesn’t have top level talent surrounding him.

lol. How'd Aikman do when #22 or #88 didn't play?

He has a better winning percentage than the QB since we all love to give wins and losses to QBs. He missed 8 games in his career (6 due to suspension and 2 due to not playing the last game of the season). Since Dak fans like posting this nonsense...what is Zeke's winning percentage added to his HOF caliber stats? Can PFF and analytics give us that? Lol...please let the season start!!!

Balance smalance. Lets be honest with each other, Zeke was the primary reason Dallas went 13-3 in 2016. But like you said, we did have a good deal of balance that season. But Zeke was just off the charts that season.
Which is exactly why he received the money he did. Same w/Dlaw. Wish Jerry would have waited like he is with Prescott with those two big contracts. Their play was never again the same. Five sacks, pft.

Don't get too discouraged, they have a few more years to go. I'm holding out hope they'll be at least close to worth it. What's with Jerry anyway? The best time to sign a player is after their 3rd year for best cap results, not wait and tag. Wait and tag IMO means you don't want the player. If you sign them after a tag means you just ripped yourself off. Dlaw wouldn't have cost nearly as much after the 2016 season. He seems to want to wait so he can pay them more.

You could make the argument to just let Zeke play out his 5 years and tag him once because he's a RB. But he'll only be with the Cowboys for 1 more year than that plan. So it isn't as bad as it appears with Zeke.

:muttley:Another misleading Dak-troll hate post about Zeke.
\Hey get used to it .....ZEKE GOT PAID and will be a Cowboy for many years to come.
Dak got a 1-year lease and then he's toast!
Hey, Dak troll do you remember what happened when Zeke was out for 6 weeks when we went 15 quarters of str8 offense without 1 TD!

Unfortunately for Zeke, he played a crucial role in the stubborn implementation of an archaic offense, under an unimaginative coach. If that wasn't quite enough, with the passage of time after 2016, the Cowboys' OL suffered a little downturn in their effectiveness as they labored stubbornly through 2019.

Now, with a new staff and prospects for a revised offensive attack, to assert itself, let's see what this revised offense has in store. It might take a while for it to jell sufficiently, but the talent is undeniably there to affect a likelihood for better things to come. Let's also see if the defense is able to offer their fair share of assistance, as well. Hopefully, their progress will be seen before the season gets too far underway.

Another reason. Worst special teams in the league we only started one drive on the opponents side of the field last season. By the time Elliot and Company got to the end zone he was gassed. Took him self out I have so many drives it drove me crazy. Again let’s hope for better special-teams and more balance
You nailed it!

It funny how people still talk about dink and dunk and how wrong they are. Prescott's rookie season his ave. pas was 8 yards and that was when he was supposedly dinking and dunking. Last season when he was throwing deeper he had an ave. of whole 2 tenths more than his rookie season at 8.2 yards. See Prescott haters have never gotten that instead of throwing deeper balls into coverage and getting picks, Prescott at times chose to throw to a safety valve receiver instead of throwing into coverage. The haters just never got that and that's why Prescott set an NFL record of only 4 picks all year for a rookie QB that started at least 12 games.

This board is actually a better barometer than just about any other news source or any of the paid so called experts
majority of people on this board saw this coming with Zeke and were saying dont pay him.

The chart actually shows that passing or rushing rate in first quarter the result is the same. and the more the team rushed as the game went on the greater the chance of winning. By the 4th quarter there is a huge benefit of Zeke running and winning games. Your title should be when they feed Zeke in the first quarter it doesn't make a difference, after that it trends to the more he runs the more wins. You didn't read the associated information and it doesn't appear you know how to read the graph and made another BS post, but thanks for pointing out how the Offense is so reliant on feeding Zeke to control the game.
