I'm sure several more will be in before all is said and done.

Congrats to Miles.

Won't complain too much about them (though Ratliff is a starter IMO).

Congrats to Miles.

Romo will be added after Lord Farve backs out.

Hopefully none of them play in the game, though.

So what is the rule for this with the game in Miami super bowl week? Do none of the super bowl players actually play, or is it a choice?

Running back -- * Adrian Peterson, Minnesota; Steven Jackson, St. Louis; DeAngelo Williams, Carolina
Fullback -- * Leonard Weaver, Philadelphia
Wide receiver -- * Larry Fitzgerald, Arizona; * DeSean Jackson, Philadelphia; Miles Austin, Dallas; Sidney Rice, Minnesota
Tight end -- * Vernon Davis, San Francisco; Jason Witten, Dallas
Tackle -- * Jason Peters, Philadelphia; * Bryant McKinnie, Minnesota; Jonathan Stinchcomb, New Orleans
Guard -- * Steve Hutchinson, Minnesota; * Jahri Evans, New Orleans; Leonard Davis, Dallas
Center -- * Andre Gurode, Dallas; Shaun O'Hara, N.Y. Giants

Defensive end -- * Jared Allen, Minnesota; * Julius Peppers, Carolina; Trent Cole, Philadelphia
Interior linemen -- * Kevin Williams, Minnesota; * Darnell Dockett, Arizona; Jay Ratliff, Dallas
Outside linebacker -- * DeMarcus Ware, Dallas; * Lance Briggs, Chicago; Brian Orakpo, Washington
Inside/midde linebacker * Patrick Willis, San Francisco; Jonathan Vilma, New Orleans
Cornerback -- * Charles Woodson, Green Bay; Asante Samuel, Philadelphia; Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Arizona
Free safety -- * Darren Sharper, New Orleans; Nick Collins, Green Bay
Strong safety -- * Adrian Wilson, Arizona

Punter -- Andy Lee, San Francisco
Placekicker-- David Akers, Philadelphia

Special teamer -- Heath Farwell, Minnesota

DeSean Jackson made it as both a receiver and returner. Also, it's interesting that Tony Gonzalez didn't make it. I figured he'd get in on reputation.

Six Cowboys named to Pro Bowl

For the second straight year the Cowboys will have six representatives at the Pro Bowl and they hope none of them can play in the NFL's All-Star Game on Jan. 31.

Instead the Cowboys hope Miles Austin, Jason Witten, Andre Gurode, DeMarcus Ware, Jay Ratliff and Leonard Davis will be preparing for Super Bowl XLIV a week later at Dolphins Stadium.

Ware was named a starter for the fourth straight year and Gurode will start for the third straight time.

For Austin, the selection - his first - is a sign that his out-of-nowhere season was recognized by his peers, coaches, personnel directors and fans. Austin did not start the first four games but has 74 catches for 1,230 yards and 11 touchdown receptions.

An undrafted free agent in 2006, Austin entered the season with 18 catches for 354 yards and three touchdowns for his career. In his first start against Kansas City, he set a franchise record with 250 yards on 10 catches and two touchdowns, including the game-winner in overtime.

He is the first Cowboys' homegrown wide receiver to make the Pro Bowl since Michael Irvin in 1995.

Witten will be making his sixth straight trip, which is tied for the fourth-longest consecutive streak in franchise history with Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, Cliff Harris, John Niland and Rayfield Wright. He leads the Cowboys with 88 catches for 854 yards and is poised for his second 90-catch, 1,000-yard season in three years.

The only players in franchise history with more Pro Bowl selections than Witten are: Bob Lilly (11), Larry Allen (10), Mel Renfro (10), Randy White (9) and Emmitt Smith (8).

Ware leads the Cowboys with 11 sacks and 43 quarterback pressures, despite playing most of the year with two neck injuries, including one that had him carted off the field vs. San Diego three weeks ago, a stress fracture in his foot and a fractured left wrist. The coaches have credited him with 91 tackles to go with his five forced fumbles and three tackles for loss.

Ratliff will be making his second straight trip to the Pro Bowl and is second on the Cowboys with six sacks. He has 71 tackles, according to the coaches' film, 31 quarterback pressures, three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles.

Since joining the Cowboys in 2007 and moving to right guard, Davis has made the Pro Bowl three straight times. Coach Wade Phillips said Davis had his best game of the year last week vs. Washington.

If the Cowboys don't make the Super Bowl, other players could be added to the NFC roster, however the list of alternates is not known. Quarterback Tony Romo, cornerback Mike Jenkins, left tackle Flozell Adams and punter Mat McBriar could all be options.
