I was at Medical City taking my grandma and 2 of her friends, to visit a sick friend from their church.

David and Skid were appearing there for a children's event, but he recognized my truck in the parking garage (I have a small pinstriped-thingy of my ranch/company logo on the doors.)

After his appearance was over, he inquired with reception to see if I or my wife's names were on their patient list.

Since it wasn't, he convinced the operator to page me as "Dr Uecker... Dr P.E. Uecker... Please call extension ___".

I finally heard the page and got David on the phone. He made his way up to my g-ma's friend's room with Skid in-tow.

I'm not sure which I laughed at more that day. Skid, David and his "aw shucks" lingo/mannerisms, or the three 70-something "blue hairs", trying to roll around on the floor of that cramped hospital room, vying for the dog's attention.

:laugh2:

:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: Great Story.
