San Fran and Seattle have a decent amount of cap room while fielding really good teams. That's impressive, kudos to their front office. How do the Eagles and Colts have so much cap room with their teams? And LOL at the Rams, they are in worse shape than the Commanders. I wonder how much the Rams have tied up in their D-line.

Rams are an aberration they have had a lot of high draft picks thanks to washington. The question is then going to be what are they going to do when those contracts expire will they have enough money to resign the glut of 1st and 2nd rounders on that time.

The Skins are only one year removed.from the cap penalties. Going into the seaseason you only "need" enough cap for IR replacements. I think most Skins fans trust Bruce Allen and his cap management.

They haven't had to pay their rookies yet.... that is why.

No idea on the Colts but Eagles do not sign top shelf FA's to get their team to the top.

Lurie spends just enough so no $ goes back to the NFLPA.
This works well when you want to win a Super Bowl.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Living in Eagleland, I have to say that is not correct. Jason Peters and Mike Vick got a ton of cash from the Eagles. Evan Mathis isn't doing too bad either. Peters and Mathis are top three at their position. Vick wasn't too bad when healthy, just ask the Commanders, hehe. And they will pay to keep top talent. McCoy ain't starving, and Foles will get paid if he proves he is the guy.

No. But you see how they structure the deals where they do not get stuck for big CAP $ given away.
They always have the top limit of CAP left into the season.
