I think he does, just doesn't wish to acknowledge it. He knows that he sucks. The truth is first mocked and ridiculed, then violently resisted, then accepted as self evident. The self evident part is staring booger in the face at this juncture

He reminds me of an economics professor I had in college who would basically read to us from the text book the whole class.

So true, haha. Several occasions where I went into a class like that energized but after 5mins in there you feel like you haven’t slept for days. Nodding off sitting straight up.
