That's just plain ignorance...I assume you're joking. But he has NOTHING to do on the sideline other than manage things...and once and while the clock....and he CANNOT do that!!!

Yep...and Corky should be in the ROH before Jimmy!!!I'm convinced...McCarthy is the best coach of all time.

Jimmy will be announced this year.Corky should be in the ROH before Jimmy!!!
Me too.Your precious few has been discussed with concern in private messages on this site many times. It was during a heated argument about this topic they pointed out I am in the same condition.
This.
And I really have a hard time comprehending how anyone could disagree with any of your summary here.
WHAT???!!!You crushed his dreams. He even believes skip is a fan. Next, Santa ain't real.
So no credit for his part in building this team or having it playing great
I totally agree with the TO on the 56 yard FG
I don’t agree on the penalty even though I would have taken the penalty
The math is virtually identical either way but one gives them two shots
I don’t like his clock mgt but I think a good part of this teams success is due to his leadership and influence[/QUOTE]
Way, way more to the job than a few bone-head decisions. Asked a poster ( who thinks Quinn and Moore are one really carrying this team) yesterday if he thought MM was making game decisions against the advice of his coordinators. Never got a response...
I bet Skip doesn't, but his interns do. What's up Mark? Skip paying you yet?I never cared for Skip or Shannon, I couldn’t stomach Shannon when he played much less watch anything he’s currently in.
And Skip with the Troy Aikman stuff…no thanks.
I would almost swear Skip spends time on this forum searching for material, seems he’s always covering a hot topic off theses pages, as well as other media clickbait folks.
I find the whole Aaron Rodgers won a Super Bowl spite MM, kind of funny, Rodgers has never won a Super Bowl without MM. Maybe this year…IDK? But that could go for MM as well? I can only hope. There’s some things he can work on sure, but hell, the defense still needs work, special teams, the offense needs some work. I’m just going to enjoy the ride, and hope there are better days ahead for my cowboys….and the coaching staff.
Doesn’t matter - FAMM is HORRIBLE when it comes to crunch time. His brain just goes to mush. 1000-yd stare. I hate him as our HC and any true Cowboys fan should be MORTIFIED that he’s in charge. You do know that they are actors? They have a script.
Strong feelings. But that's par for the course with you.Doesn’t matter - FAMM is HORRIBLE when it comes to crunch time. His brain just goes to mush. 1000-yd stare. I hate him as our HC and any true Cowboys fan should be MORTIFIED that he’s in charge.
Suppose you tell me what he is responsible for since he is not calling Offensive or Defensive plays???That's just plain ignorance...I assume you're joking.
Very nice. At least you're asking an experienced and successful HC this question and not some dweeb fan like some peeps here.Suppose you tell me what he is responsible for since he is not calling Offensive or Defensive plays???
I like McCarthy and most of what he's done to help this team, assuming he has -- but nobody's perfect. I see no harm in someone assisting him from the upstairs booth when clock management is required in a timely fashion. It's understandable that pressure might adversely affect a coach at times when quick decisions are required. He could either do what is suggested, or not. At least, he'd have some helpful support, if needed.
Skip's a shock/jock who follows in the Howard Stern's pioneering vein.OP and Skippy can be right but that like never make up for his past transgressions.
