Skip & Shannon 100% correct!

Our players have to keep our eyes on the clock. Dak may have to take the TO. The chargers game people were wondering why they didn’t run another play. I am guessing MM didn’t want to take the chance of a fumble or sack. Do y’all think he just sucks. How many other times has he shown bad clock management.

McCarthy’s awful decision making has picked up where it left off last season. It was a hot topic last season and it continues to be a hot topic this season. Eventually his poor decision making will cost the Cowboys a game and when it does he’ll be roasted during his post game presser. After every game he’s being asked about some of the decisions he made. The scrutiny on his decision making is growing. He doesn’t seem to have a clue what he’s doing. Sooner or later these bad decisions that keep popping up every week will catch up with him and it will cost him his job.

It doesn't make sense to me. He's won a Super Bowl and coached many successful teams. How can he suck so bad at easy game stuff? He definitely needs an assistant. I thought that might be why they brought in McAdon't...guess he is just as bad?

You're in the wrong place. They love MM around these parts.

As long as Mike represents the star there will be a segment of the fan base that will defend his every decision. That's what I like to call "Star Blind".

That segment exists in every fan base of every team in sports. The Cowboys are far from alone in that regard. I criticize Moore daily despite his being heralded as a "genius" and I was all over McCarthy for how we botched the end of the Bucs game.. Three kneel downs, eat up clock and timeouts and we kick the FG and give Tampa the ball back with 30 seconds.. Now there is no guarantee we still win but I like that WAY better than 1:32 .. Just as I hated the mismanagement at the end of the Charger game.. and I wasn't exactly over the moon with letting up on the Panthers.. And I certainly would not have minded using some timeouts to try and get more points at the end of the first half against the Eagles..

You can tell this to an emotional person all day long and they will still knee-jerk whichever way the media is comfortable taking them.

That's normally true. It's just that in this case the script writer didn't have a pro vs anti Cowboy shtick to feed the masses click bait.

It was a shared and mutually agreed upon narrative from both sides that presented a strong case of empirical evidence to support that shared view.

He won a Super Bowl with Aaron Rodgers. If he was a better decision maker maybe he would’ve won more. There was a reported rift between him and Rodgers. He couldn’t even win with Rodgers his final two seasons in Green Bay. Whatever he was as a head coach during his successful years in Green Bay he clearly doesn’t have it anymore. The year he took away from football certainly didn’t help him.

Ok, you Skip haters....try and find fault with even ONE thing he says in this clip....they both covered the situation with Corky absolutely perfectly....I couldn't have added one thing.

Screw them and all of you that don't appreciate what MM has done. You are ridiculous.

He hired Quinn though.. lol

Imagine Aaron Rodgers having to deal with his playcalling. His decision making is bad when he has to make 1 or 2 calls a game. Imagine him calling plays on top of that. Can anyone say audible…

I agree that they’re actors, but I thought YOU didn’t believe in conspiracy theories. Predetermined opinions trumpeted as facts on TV to affect public perception is a conspiracy to further enhance profits.

We’ve won three in a row and McCarthy’s poor decision making is a hot topic. Just imagine how heated this topic is going to get if we start losing and he continues making questionable decisions.

Lol!! The Stupidity is mind boggling. Like you haters were in the coaches offices and know anything about what you're talking about.....opinion are like butt holes! Every has one and they stink

I'm not going to totally bash him away yet. I do wonder what he is "doing/thinking" but if the players like him and the culture is right, hopefully he can get this weird crap fixed with some help before it bites us in the "you know what" come playoff time. He needs to be A TON better in-game. Like night and day better.

He just looks like a fool and really it's the only 800lb Gorilla in the room right now for this team. If he was just being a half-normal coach..calling timeouts properly, challenging the right plays, etc., I feel this team could have a real shot; especially if they don't have to win in spite of his bonehead decisions. Argh!

Most who are questioning McCarthy’s decision making aren’t haters. This stupidity is coming from the fat head standing on the sidelines.

I was done with him when he attacked Dak over mental health.

Skip is an idiot... I just like to watch Shannon bash the Cowboys because it is ridiculous. It's actually quite comical because I know it is scripted and I know he is just a counterpoint to Skip being a dolt. Only reason I watch.. I do think Shannon is pretty funny most of the time.

He is going to cost us a game or two. Same as what JG used to do but the one thing is this team might be the best talent wise since Garrett took over. We've never had an oline and dline play at this level at the same time since a long time ago.
So no credit for his part in building this team or having it playing great
I totally agree with the TO on the 56 yard FG
I don’t agree on the penalty even though I would have taken the penalty
The math is virtually identical either way but one gives them two shots
I don’t like his clock mgt but I think a good part of this teams success is due to his leadership and influence

I am willing to be my ALMOST 6 figure net worth that even if the Cowboys were to win the Super Bowl, you would STILL have vocal groups saying the following:
  • The Cowboys won despite of MM who is too stupid to tell time
  • Dak is not good enough to win without all the All-Pros around him
  • <Insert kicker name here> sucks and you can't trust him with the game on the line
  • KM got too "cute" and made the game closer than what it should have been
  • Dan Quinn doesn't know how to finish off opponents
  • Ezekiel Elliot is fat / slow / stupid / immature
  • Amari Cooper does not show up on the road
  • Schultz is not Elite Enough of a TE
  • CeeDee Lamb isn't ready to be a #1
  • Michael Gallup should have been traded
  • Micah Parsons should not be a LB
  • Trevon Diggs is terrible if he is not getting Ints
  • We don't have a star at Safety, so of course we suck
  • Our O-Line outside of Martin (and maybe Smith) are the worse in the NFL
  • We don't have a dominate DT that can collapse the pocket
  • Jaylon sucks
  • LVE sucks
  • Brown sucks
  • DLaw sucks
  • We can NEVER beat good teams
  • We can NEVER win if we are down at halftime
(I hope that covered most of the complaints on this forum)

I get it, Dallas is not perfect by any means.

But there is good news: THERE ARE NO PERFECT TEAMS IN THE NFL.

So while Dallas has it flaws, every other team out there has their flaws too. So just remember, FLAWED teams win the Super Bowl EVERY YEAR.

Somebody has to win it.
