BTW: Tyler Thigpen was taken in the 7th round by KC. His stats:
14 games, 230/420 for 2,499 yds, 18 TDs, 13 int, 6 fumbles.

Romo: 13 games, 276/450 3,448 yds, 26 TD, 14 int, 13 fumbles.

I really wish we had spent one of these draft picks on a real viable QB to groom in the system, like New England did with Matt Cassel.

Talk about distorting the truth with stats.

The fact is Romo was undrafted, won many many more games than Thigpen did this year, has been to two pro bowls and is considered a franchise QB.

Thigpen started the season 3rd stringer and will likely never be a starting QB in the NFL unless it is due to injury like this year.

nonono, I was meaning that Tyler is a decent backup QB, and that Romo played poorly this year. I'm not saying I'd rather have Thigpen over Romo.
