What's your home towns skyline like? My favourite of Glasgow, Celtic Park aside, is at the river looking east.

My hometown Skyline is Dallas, but there will be plenty of that in this thread. I love cities so I'll just post a couple skylines I have saved on my computer at the moment.

Order goes...

1. Chicago
2. Chicago
3. Doha
4. Dubai
5. Queensland, Australia
6. Seattle
7. Vancouver

I'll probably add more.

@DFWJC, that first one of Dallas is probably the best one I've seen. Whenever I look for pictures of the Dallas skyline, they all look like they were taken in 1988-- just a few tall buildings jutting out of the ground, surrounded by nothingness in low resolution. Also, they never seem to capture just how tree covered the surrounding area is.

It's definitely been growing more and more recently. One thing I never understand is how the Trinity River is always full in these pictures. I swear I have never seen the Trinity River that full before.

It only fills up in the spring and I think the photographers wait until then to get the reflections.

If they would have gone through with the full Trinity River project (sailing , marinas, riverside restaurants, etc) it would have done wonders for the overall landscape.
Instead, in typical tax grab fashion, they took the billion of extra "targeted" taxes and spent most of it elsewhere.

The skyline really is growing and with uptown and the arts district blowing up, it's added a lot to it. Dallas has some very interesting buildings.
