First attempt at a Mock Draft. For starters, Aaron Donald (#14 to Chicago) and Anthony Barr (#11 to Tenn) are off the Board when the Cowboys are on the Clock. Trade partners aren't offering enough and although Martin is appealing.....

#16 Round 1 Timmy Jernigan DT FSU (Immediate starter at 1Tech and despite what some may think, has ability to play some 3Tech as well. Major upgrade at the position and will make a very good complement to Melton)

#47 Round 2 Dominique Easley DT Florida (After Valley Ranch visit doctor's give the okay on a 1st round talent. Will platoon with Melton in 2014 as 3Tech but could be a starter by as early as 2015 and definitely by 2016)

#78 Round 3 Billy Turner OT/G North Dakota State (Could be able to play inside due to aggressive playing style mixed with his athleticism. Could push Leary and Bernadeau in 2014 and may be Free's replacement at RT in 2015)

#119 Round 4 Will Clarke DE West Virginia (Rotational player with a good motor and size. Fits into Marinelli's plan of bringing "Rushmen" in waves. As an aside, post-draft I think Dallas re-signs Anthony Spencer. Spencer, Clarke and Selvie make up WDE rotation)

#158 Round 5 Mike Davis WR Texas (Adds needed speed to the offense and can also play outside in case Dez or TWill miss a game or two. Workout partner of Dez in offseason so he just seems to fit)

Cowboys trade into the 6th round sending three 7th's (#'s 229, 231, and 238) to old friend Mike Zimmer and the Vikings because an injured player they can't resist has dropped unexpectedly to the 6th round.....

#184 Round 6 Brandon Thomas G/T Clemson (2014 is an obvious Redshirt season for the former 2nd or 3rd round prospect due to the unfortunate torn ACL. But, he is worth the late pick because once healthy and after a full season in the teams strength and conditioning program Thomas will be a starting G in 2015)

#248 Round 7 Marquis Spruill LB Syracuse (Can play MLB and WLB possibly)
#251 Round 7 Carrington Byndom CB Texas (Solid Cover guy with speed)
#254 Round 7 Ted Bolser TE Indiana (Good inline blocker with some receiving skills)

Dallas gets instant contributors and increases talent level of team going forward as well. Have at it......

Not sure I would go both Jernigan and Easley on back to back picks.
