Slightly worried about the WR situation

Both Austin and Harris were injured in last week's game and are questionable to play in the upcoming game against the Chargers. If both were not able to play, what does that leave us? Obviously Dez and TWill would get the start, but who's backing them up? Beasley? I'm assuming Escobar will see more time on the field but I'm a bit concerned about the WR depth going into this game.

I don't see any way Harris isn't out there if he's able to play. This is an extremely important game with Denver coming up next week.

I'm guessing we'll see a lot more of the TEs this game, 2 and 3 TE sets.

I'm expecting a huge day from Witten. Nothing crazy like the 18 rec he had in one game last year but 8-12 catches, around 100 yards, and a TD or two won't surprise me a bit.

Im worried about it too. We havent been good at passing yet this year even with all the starters playing. Maybe we'll see somebody show up.

Harris has already said he was playing. He came back out there and caught the beautiful TD after he got injured. He has a hip pointer and said it's sore, but he can go.

Now for Miles, who knows? I like Austin the player and person, but cannot stand his hamstrings!!!!!

Next man up.

There are only 5 WRs on the roster. With Austin and Harris hurting, there is only Williams and Beasley right now. And Williams has been underwhelming.

haris will play. if he was'nt able to go williams and dez would be outside and beasley in the slot. beasley is a beast to cover in the slot so i'm more concerned about austin/williams than the slot myself.

I do not expect Miles to be a Dallas Cowboy next year...

He'll be a huge hit on the cap if not.
I believe that next year, the cap hit is slightly (~$400k) lower if we cut him than if we keep him. Of course, you still have to replace his roster spot.

he got a 5.892 signing bonus this year. the remaining years would count toward the cap. but his salary next year 5,5 mil would come off so you actually save a little by cutting him. but then you have to pay someone to replace him. i suspect it will all come down to how williams plays. if he developes to a point where they are comfy with him as the starter then it could happen. another factor is his health this year.

TE's.

And we can use more Murray in the passing game and give Dunbar touches there too. But I think Harris plays. Boy's just being carefull with him.

I'm not worried at all about the passing game. Dez counts got 6 wrs by his self, TWill, Beasley, Witten, Hanna, Escobar, Murray, Dunbar. Maybe Randle can play if Austin and Harris can't go. That's all we need not enough to go around as is, let's get healthy for this run.

Finally the Beaz will get what he earned. He will be a threat every game moving forward. Book it.

I hope Harris can go, but if he can't maybe Randle and Beasley can return kicks/punts. That would be interesting.

1) Austin hasn't done anything this year anyways.
2) Harris will play and be effective
3) Beasley will play and be effective, and show why we kept him.
