smart teams were prolly working at the 1st deadline. smart owners got the two extensions. :)

With the amount of cash available to teams, I don't think the quality of FAs will be as much as in the past. If they want them, they can keep them.

Well...we've seen this organization in two FA modes....one year, we sat on our hands while all the good donuts were taken and we were left with crullers...then, last season, we struck often and fast...

I'm hoping we do the latter again.

TO Thought - Do Eagles have to cut TO? If they can squeeze him in they might try and leverage a trade.

If I were the Eagles, I'd be calling teams like Denver and offering TO now for a ham sandwich, and let them work out his new deal. Keep him as far away from Philly as possible.

Cutting Glover had nothing to do with the CBA.

We sat on our hands because we felt like we were in good shape. You're going to see something in between last year and the year before that. We probably won't see any big time signings, but we're going to get some talent. Believe it.

Why trade for him when everyone knows they will release him?

T.O. still won't be traded. He has no trade value, everyone knows the Eagles are releasing him.

Because then you get him before he hits the open market, and whatever bidding takes place.

The Eagles aren't obligated to release him are they? They are well under the cap and could keep on the roster to rot if they wanted to do so

Wheat that is ridiculous.

Nope, not really.

Tell him to work out his own deal.

The Skins got a garbage pick for Rod Gardner who everybody knew was going to be release. T.O. is alittle more talented.

you do know that you have to pay someone who is on your roster right?

I heard of a player who bought his freedom.
