SNF: Bears v Packers

I think you're kind of missing the point. You're talking about what they could have done and comparing the WR core to Chicago's. I'm talking about what they DID do and comparing the WR core to Chicago's.

Whether it was poor decision making or not, Chicago spent out the nose at the position and we didn't.

Okay well yes, we are agreed. You typically have to spend money to have good players

that 4th down was 100% a doug pederson play. They have their whole staff set up identically. QB coaches everywhere to nurse a long a big raw guy with the second overall pick.
Last week was talking to a friend who’s a Bears fan. I was more excited for her team than she was. I told her it reminds me a lot of our Eagles last year. Everything is set in place including the coaches.

The Cowboys have $19 million in cap space. Robinson is costing the Bears $11 million in cap space.

Not saying I wanted Robinson, but the fact the Cowboys were content with this receiving corp doesn't speak well for the decision making in Dallas.

Still. Missing. The. Point.

This whole thing started by someone comparing the Bears WR additions this offseason to ours. I never said we couldn't add more talent. I simply said we aren't as talented because we didn't spend nearly as much on the position. The Bears went out and spent pretty wildly to improve the position. That's it.

It's a stance lacking an agenda. That may be what's confusing people. I'm talking facts without butthurt or "what ifs".

Didn’t you hear? Jerry is building another massive development adjacent to The Star and needed every penny he could scrape together.

Wonder what new rule the NFL will come up with to protect QB's after the latest Rogers injury? They changed the rule about tackling QB's into the ground after Rogers got hurt last year.

They also had coaches that covered up their weaknesses

Hey true.. but it's similar to 2014 season. Everyone knew with this offense (coupled) with actually running the ball our offense would be hot. Everyone also knew our defense would not be good enough.

There was plenty of things they "could" have done to shore up that defense but "they liked their guys", and chose to do nothing.

Of course the rest is history.. What "could" have been with proper evaluation and effort.

If rodgers is out for the season (which i doubt) the packers will win 1 game
