Yeah, I like him too.

We'll need to continue to lose to get him though.

Which... is entirely conceivable.

so you think we finish 5-11?

Honestly...we have shown no sense of urgency for needing to cut down the penalties. Our effort after two weeks of preparation was pathetic, and then after that we followed it up with another bumbling (yet possibly ref-aided) showing in Minnesota.

How did we lose to the Bears? The Skins?

I'm sure we can figure out how to get him. He provides insurance against Jenkins' potential to continue to slide and he's an excellent returner, so even if we don't have him playing CB immediately (which I think he will, and take Scandrick or Jenkins' spot) he immediately contributes by handling all kicks and punts, and this gets Dez off the field for all those collisions on punt returns.

shouldve challenged, looks like ball came out when he hit the ground

Whoa. I'm shocked no challenge there. I guess Childress said **** they're gonna score anyway but i'm not quite sure that was a catch.

Greenbay-200 yards of offense in the first quarter...good lord!!

All through the air. Quick routes, short drops, slants...

Jason Garrett would be still running the play clock down to 0 and throwing screens and doing 7 step drops out of shotgun.

Yea I like how NBC showed the replay and it looked like the guy didn't have possesion and they cut to the field goal and went quick to commercial lol.

It wasn't controlled in his hands though. Doesn't have to hit the ground.

Their plays haven't been that different than from what we run. Only difference is they're effective. When we throw screen passes for whatever reason Felix Jones is running on skates and is about to fall.

The Packers run a WCO. We don't. So the Os are pretty different.

Felix has to dance before he runs. That's his one issue.

Newman is getting up there in age... and when he is done, we'll need a #1 CB. We've taken it for granted since we've drafted Newman what a luxury it is having someone like that. Jenkins is regressing; forgot who it is, but they talk about Jenkins being an every other year kind of guy.... benched his Junior year, comes back and has a good SR year, struggles his rookie year, was pretty good last year, struggling again this year... just inconsistent and more of a #2 CB. Scandrick isn't looking like anything solid.

Would love to add him, too.

I don't know what they run. I'm speaking on what i've seen this 1st quarter from the Pack and the only difference i've seen is they've been effective. I don't see running backs getting hit in the backfield after a handoff. Running the West coast offense has nothing to do with blocking or being able to catch a screen pass.

True, but it does emphasize quick strikes and YAC.

Either him or Gabe Carimi out of Wisconsin.

Gabe will probably be a Top 5 pick....we would have to lose the rest of our games to be in position to get him.
