all we have to show so far is.... Adoyele, Gurode and Kozier (who noone really knows and for that matter dont even know what position) these are not the parts i was hoping to add to this roster. we still need to shore up the OL, FS, PK and now we are forced to shell out some big money to replace Keyshawn for a WR.

I agree.

While it is just the beginning stages, it is scary to think of what we have done. Cut leadership and talent and havn't really replaced it.

I know we must have a plan, but it is scary.

this is the most pathetic FA i've ever seen. why are we 20+ mil under the cap and cutting leaders on our team without signing anyone? if you cut a solid player, you darn well better sign another one.. its simple to understand. we're acting like the Commanders should of been this year, cutting key players because we're cap strapped.. funny thing is were not.

These bad grades (or good for that matter) are ridiculous, free agency is just starting and we all should be aware that Dallas will make several more moves.
its like grading the 'Boys draft this year after pick number 17 in the first round, everything is far from over.
I do think we got caught flatfooted when Longwell was signed so quickly but Minnesota threw a lot of mula at him. But there is still plenty of moves we will see from the team.

First thing I don't get is why everyone is so quick to tell everyone else to stop starting their own threads. If you don't want to read it then pass on by, don't come in, don't pay it any attention and it will slide off the first page. This is a message board, if you don't want to read the messages then don't, go find someplace else on the web to spend your time.

Ok now about the thread subject. It's hard to sit back and watch your team dump talent without really any replacements. At the same time you are watching your divisional foes add to their own talent pool and seemingly increasing the gap between our team and theirs. I really think that Jerry and Bill have a plan in place and their are still several peices available in FA that can come in and be major impacts for this team.

I think the release of Keyshawn means one of two things for this team, (1) we are going to add TO at some point in the near future or (2) WR is going to be a big peice of the upcoming draft.

Lets just wait and see what happens, but if we don't add TO and/or a quality kicker then I think FA will be a major letdown for all of us.

Kosier and Gurode are both players that to date, havent been good enough to lock down a starting job at one position...Ayodele is a nice addition, but is he alot better than Fugita? (or Nguyen)

team still has massive holes at RT, OLB (or ILB depending on where Ayodele plays), FS, C, K, backup NT (or starting NT, if Ferguson cant play any better than last yr) and they created a big hole by releasing Keyshawn

the reason i gave it an F is that the FA market is quickly dwindling away, seriously how many OT's or OL in general is still out there. some might say well Flozell will be back next year, and thats great, but what about RT? are we going to put our hopes in Pettiti, Tucker or maybe the wimp Rogers?

is Kozier the replacement for Larry Allen? last season we had a playoff worthy team till Flo went down, and it was so obvious our OL stunk down the stretch. Kyle Kozier isnt the only answer.

suppose we do sign TO, we all know at the first sign of trouble, TO is gonna open his big mouth, and we're gonna be the Eagles of last year?

PK and FS, i cant understand why we havent addressed those positions, what the heck are we waiting for? mind boggling.

as a poster stated earlier, it does suck to watch the rest of the division shoring up glaring weaknesses, and were still idling by waiting for TO.

last but not least a 1 million freak bonus for Keyshawn, if it were me i wouldve gave it to him without thinking twice, Key has definetly earned it and then some. just the fact that he has came and played hard for us and kept his mouth shut he is deserving.

As far as grading this early u have to go on the historical acount and history have proved two things and I quote:

1. Deadskins signings will mean nothing come playoffs because they won't not be playing in it (last season was a flook everyone knows that with half a brain)

2. Mister Jerry Jones will get the men he wants to do what he wants when he wants it done. Bank on it.
